Wild Orchid Salon - Westlake 360 is a hair salon in Austin, TX, located at 3600 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Suite B-100, in the Westlake area. It is a convenient option for clients seeking professional hair care near Westlake, central Austin, and surrounding neighborhoods. With a 4.5-star rating from 56 reviews, the salon has built a local presence through appointments focused on individual hair goals, from maintaining an everyday look to making a more noticeable change.
Haircutting and shaping are among the experiences highlighted by clients. One review describes detailed dry shaping for fine, below-shoulder-length hair, resulting in softer fullness and easy movement. That kind of feedback may be especially useful for guests who want a cut that considers texture, density, length, and how their hair falls naturally. Rather than treating every style the same, the salon is a potential fit for people looking for a more tailored approach to refreshing their current haircut.
Color services also appear in customer feedback, including high-lift root touch-ups, full balayage, and work with gray coverage or blending. A guest shared that a visit helped them feel more like themselves after addressing a head full of grays, while another mentioned discussing a natural warm blonde goal before a balayage appointment. Because color results can depend on hair history, starting shade, maintenance preferences, and desired tone, clients may find it helpful to communicate their reference photos and expectations clearly when booking a color service at this Austin hair salon.
The salon's schedule accommodates weekday and Saturday appointments: Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed Monday and Sunday. Wild Orchid Salon - Westlake 360 can suit Austin clients who value a local salon setting for cuts, custom shaping, color maintenance, balayage conversations, or a change in style. For the smoothest visit, confirm the service, stylist availability, timing, and any hair-history details before your appointment.

Sign in to reviewI desperately needed a cut and shaping of my thinning fine below-shoulder length hair. Becca is a true artisan. She gave me an updated Sally Hershberger cut with lots of custom dry shaping that resulted in breezy movement and soft fullness - Her 18 years of experience was evident in the effortlessness with which she approached my hair “project.” I couldn’t be more delighted. Thank you Becca!
Whoever answered the phone was absolutely disgusting. She’s been horrible the last several times of calling. Treated me like absolute scum. So glad I won’t be back. Becca has been truly great but unfortunately due to the frequency of my desired high lift root touch ups I need to start using barrier cream applied to my ends like the owner Danielle first suggested for me at home. I also got hit with a ton of bills lately so whatever I can do to take this operation home and save money… I must do. Thankfully yall finally told me what high lift color you’ve been using although I was appalled to realize it was with a 40 vol. I was going to come see Danielle just to watch her technique before trying myself but tbh the attitude from the phone person made me just cancel and even more determined to do my hair myself to save money. I feel like it’s no loss for me to not be spending upwards of 4k plus a year here. Which is reasonable but still… for my ends to be damaged because of not having barrier cream despite me doing everything humanly possible to salvage them..? And I have level 8 hair I want level 10 honestly I’m not even sure 40 vol is needed on me. 👀 and you just don’t leave ends sitting over roots while they are developing without a barrier cream. But honestly I like talking to Becca she’s funny and pleasant to be around but like… I feel like I distract her with how much I want to talk and it would be better for me to just color at home. After all this time I know what I need I think.. All due the phone person can go extinct she sounds like a chain smoking Dino anyway. I’m sure she’s not long for the world. She sounds about 70 with emphysema and that’s not me being disgruntled that’s an accurate observation and my direct takeaway of talking to her. I don’t think I’ve been going here for that long but like… it’s enough to really feel hurt and lowkey betrayed. But like who am I to feel that? Or expect these people to care. I really truly walk away from the experience every time feeling like a barking puppy that people have to deal with. Like they look at me and talk to me like I’m bothersome and a bit of a burden so… I think it’s good to not be a burden anymore. And if I was Danielle idk… there’s surely a virtual assistant or something that would save you money girl. That phone person ain’t it. I’m sorry. It has to be said. She’s running away business. Even if I wasn’t dealing with financial stress I was already annoyed by her before and everyone else is so on the level but her. I know if she pushed me away she’s probably pushing away potential clients before they even get in the door. And I feel like she’s stuck in some sort of negative loop where she treats customers like garbage then gets mad because customers probably start giving her crap and she thinks we’re all rude but like… it’s her job to literally perform the emotional labor of hiding what she’s feeling and facilitating bookings.
If I could leave a 0 I would. I am so mad right now. Holly just attempted to give me a Brazilian blowout and while brushing out my hair was SO rough that my hair was breaking off and showering down around me. Then she “washed and conditioned” my hair to try to repair it and it still feels like straw. I walked out with wet hair and wasted an hour of my life. This place sucks
Unfortunately had a bad experience with a full balayage coloring service from Ashley Kniffin that left my hair with orange / dark yellow chunks despite walking through that I wanted a natural warm blonde tone and looking at a photo from Pinterest during a pre-appointment consultation. Ashley was nice to fix some of the areas after my appointment and I was scheduled to come in for a 3rd time to tone and blend more but my appointment as canceled last minute and I was told I would have to see a different stylist and pay on top of the $400 I already spent to fix it. Now I'm left with hair that needs to be fixed by another salon right before the holidays. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the mistake I did; go to a different salon.
Meeting Holly was a gift from the universe. I walked in as a 35 years old with a head full of grays and walked out FEELING and LOOKING 30 years old with my natural hair back! I am obsessed and now will ONLY let Holly touch my hair moving forward! Thank you queen for bringing me back to life.
