About

Wild West of America is listed on FindALoco in Denver, CO with address, phone, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Gift Shop.

Wild West of America is a gift shop at 715 16th St Mall in Denver, Colorado, where visitors can browse for souvenirs and Denver- or Colorado-themed keepsakes. Its central address makes it a practical stop for people exploring the 16th Street Mall, shopping nearby, or looking for a small memento of a visit to the city. Customer reviews describe a selection of familiar souvenir items and local trinkets, making the shop most relevant to travelers who want a straightforward place to look for a reminder of Denver or the wider state.

Visitors mention typical souvenirs and Denver and Colorado items among the things they have found here. The available customer feedback does not identify a single signature product or specialty, so it is best to think of Wild West of America as a general souvenir shop rather than a store focused on one particular craft or service. One reviewer notes that the shop shares a doorway and connected sales floors with Souvenir Warehouse; that account may help visitors understand the layout, though individual shopping experiences can vary. Reviews also describe the merchandise as imported, so shoppers seeking locally made products may want to check an item's origin before buying.

The setting is a retail stop on the 16th Street Mall, suited to visitors who want to browse while already in the area and compare souvenir options in person. It may work for someone looking for a Denver hoodie, a Colorado-themed keepsake, or a small gift to take home, depending on what is available during their visit. Because reviews give mixed impressions of both the merchandise and service, it is sensible to browse at your own pace and decide whether the selection and prices fit what you have in mind. The business has a customer rating of 3 from 29 reviews, reflecting a range of experiences rather than a guarantee of what any one visit will be like.

Wild West of America is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., according to the listed hours. Its address is 715 16th St Mall, Denver, CO 80202, United States. Customer accounts are not uniformly positive: some describe a convenient souvenir stop, while others report uncomfortable interactions with staff. That difference is worth keeping in mind, particularly if you are shopping with family or have just purchased items elsewhere. For travelers already walking the mall, the shop offers an easy opportunity to look through Denver- and Colorado-themed souvenirs and make an informed choice based on the items in stock, their origins, and their prices.

One of the oldest souvenir shops in all of downtown Denver. It honestly feels like a small slice of New York. We plopped right down here. I'd say there's a 50/50 shot of things. Be in the store being authentic and not and it it doesn't really correspond to price. That being said, the cultural status of this establishment is worth the visit alone, it has withstood at least three economic collapses over the decades (so I'm not sure if it's the same family that still owns it). Well this does have the messy clutter problem that a lot of similar stores have. That makes it very stressful for someone with my level of analytical thinking. The creative messy side of myself loves exploring this store and finding all sorts of new things. The combination of fossils, native American paraphernalia, and genuine cowboy products. You'll have no shortage of beautiful trinkets to take home with you to remember your journey to Colorado. That being said, I can't advise spending too much money here. After all, this is just a gift shop in the middle of our Capital. You will find much more unique and more likely to be authentic artifacts by visiting the real sites that are discussed here.

FYI this shares a door with the Souvenir Warehouse where you can walk between sales floors, so they're basically the same store. This is a decent place for finding your typical souvenirs and Denver/Colorado trinkets. It's all imported, but …

I went yesterday with my friend and 1 year old son and surely will be the last time I go. I entered their store with a Denver hoodie I had just bought from another store (where the buffalo roam Denver). A woman working here at Wild West followed us a block away into another store and when we entered the store loudly approached me and said RECEIPT RECEIPT! I then showed her my receipt of my shirt & baby toy I had bought from the other store, they do not have that shirt I was wearing in their store so not sure why she felt the need to chase me down. After that I went back to their store to ask for owner contact information and they continued to give me the stores phone number so when I called they answered the phone & kept saying the owner wasn’t there. Terrible experience, I have never been embarrassed nor judged like this before. She had ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to follow me & harass me the way she did. I believe they are racist. I highly recommend going to “Where the buffalo roam Denver” instead they are professional, friendly and have good quality clothes there! DO NOT GO HERE!
