Its 5-star rating, drawn from 52 customer reviews, reflects a consistent pattern in the feedback: clients appreciate being treated with care, professionalism, and respect while navigating important legal matters.
Customer reviews point especially to immigration-related representation and support through complex, time-sensitive processes. One client describes Attorney Wiley's work on a mandamus filing connected with a stalled N-400 application, noting close attention to the case and communication during unexpected contact from the FBI. Another reviewer shares their experience with travel outside the United States after concerns about using a refugee travel document. These accounts provide useful context for prospective clients who need an attorney familiar with cases that can involve uncertainty, agency correspondence, and close attention to paperwork. The reviews do not suggest a one-size-fits-all process; instead, they emphasize individualized support as cases move through official channels.
Reviews also repeatedly mention Cara Jobson by name, describing clear explanations, prompt responses, integrity, deep knowledge, and careful attention to details. The atmosphere clients describe is reassuring and client-centered: people say they felt informed, heard, and supported from consultation through later stages of their matters. That measured approach can matter when legal terminology or procedural steps feel overwhelming. Rather than leaving clients to interpret each development alone, the feedback portrays a practice that takes time to explain the process in accessible terms and maintains steady communication. This is not a claim about a particular result, but it does show why responsiveness and explanation stand out in the client experience.
For Berkeley residents and people across the surrounding East Bay looking for immigration-focused legal support, Wiley & Jobson, PC may be a thoughtful place to begin a conversation about their situation. It may be particularly relevant for those facing a delayed naturalization application, questions connected with refugee travel documentation, or an immigration matter requiring diligent follow-through. A reviewer also highlighted the value of feeling understood when English is not a first language, a meaningful consideration for clients seeking patient communication. Clients considering representation can use the posted weekday hours to plan an initial outreach and ask direct questions about their needs. As with any legal decision, a consultation is the best way to discuss the facts of a specific case, available options, and whether the practice is a fit.

Sign in to reviewCara is the best!!! I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for the incredible support I received. From the very beginning, she was professional, kind, and patient, taking the time to explain every step of the process in a way that made me feel informed and at ease. She was always quick to respond to my questions, no matter how small, and made what could have been a very stressful journey feel manageable. Her expertise and attention to detail gave me so much confidence, and I truly felt that she cared about my case on a personal level. She guided me through everything with clarity and reassurance, and thanks to her dedication, everything worked out better than I could have hoped. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a lawyer who is not only knowledgeable but also “genuinely supportive”. **UPDATE 06/13/2023** **I wanted to provide an update on my previous review for my lawyer, Cara Jobson. After long years, I finally had the opportunity to travel outside of the United States. I returned from Mexico this morning, and I must say, despite my initial fears of using the refugee travel document, everything went smoothly. Thank you Cara Jobson.** I met Cara through a phone call when I was trying to help a friend from Mexico with his asylum case, she answered all my questions regarding him. Since that day I noticed how knowledgeable she is. After that, I decided to switch my attorney and chose Cara Jobson as mine. It’s not easy for an immigrant to apply for an immigration case, which gives us a lot of anxiety but Cara Jobson gave me a different experience. She answered all my questions simply and straight to the point. Cara Jobson is amazing with communication, discussing solutions, and updates. She helped me during my whole asylum process; application update, work permit, and finally the interview, and of course I was approved. I also want to point here how protected I felt during my asylum interview. I don’t have words to describe this moment. She was there fighting with me and for me. I can’t be thankful enough for all the work Cara Jobson has done for me. I was in the right hands! I definitely recommend Cara Jobson to everyone that’s having immigration issues or wants to start a new process. Thank you again for all the help! I couldn’t be any happier.
I’m so glad I found Attorney Wiley to represent me in filing a mandamus for my N-400 application. She did an outstanding job getting the government’s attention and moving my case forward when it had stalled. When I was unexpectedly contacted by the FBI, Attorney Wiley went above and beyond — liaising directly with the FBI special agent on my behalf and guiding me through the entire process with care and professionalism. She’s been incredibly generous with her time and truly showed that she cared about my situation. I’m deeply grateful for her help and would highly recommend Attorney Wiley to anyone facing delays with their N-400 application.
