The signature choice is the Yomie's Purple Rice Yogurt, a creamy yogurt drink paired with plentiful, chewy purple rice and served with a wide bubble tea straw. Customers often point to the balance of tangy yogurt and the texture of the rice, which gives the drink a satisfying, substantial character. The purple rice yogurt smoothie is another popular way to try the house combination, while the jujube purple rice yogurt offers a variation for guests interested in a deeper fruit-and-rice flavor. For something bright and tropical, mango sago is also among the menu items customers recommend.

This Houston dessert destination is especially fitting on warm Texas days, when a cold, lightly sweet drink can offer a refreshing break from the humidity. Yomie's Rice x Yogurt in Houston, Texas is closed Monday and Tuesday, then opens Wednesday and Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday until 10:30 PM, and Sunday until 9 PM. I was genuinely surprised about how much I enjoyed my stop at Yomie’s Rice x Yogurt! It was pretty empty when we entered, but the service was really friendly and quick. The inside was standard, but still looked clean and nice. They recommended the Yomie Purple Rice Yogurt (with tax = $6.65). It was so good! It was a unique taste and blend of rice and tougher that actually went well together. I tried their Straw to my Berry yogurt. It was also good, but this one didn’t have any rice in it as it was just a regular yogurt order. Overall, I enjoyed my stop here!

The best purple rice yogurt you’ll get from a chain. The yogurt consistency and flavor is spot on. The purple rice is plentiful, aesthetic, and has just the right amount of chewiness. They have a large variety of options of to choose from. Every time I come to any Yomie, the service, flavor, and quality is consistent. I got the durian yogurt drink and added purple rice and was pleasantly surprised to see that they add real durian in their drink. I got some durian bits while drinking my drink!

You pull back the heavy plastic curtain of a neon-lit, sterile-white shop. It makes zero sense—a chilled, sweet yogurt drink infused with warm, chewy purple rice, handed to you with a fat bubble tea straw and a charming smile. But in the sticky, unrelenting humidity of a summer, it’s an absolute revelation. You take a pull. It’s unapologetic street food meeting modern alchemy. Tart, probiotic-rich fermented dairy colliding with the earthy, nutty bite of an ancient grain. It’s strange, it’s comforting, and—god help you—it’s brilliant.

Love this new drink place in Htown. Their drinks are good, not too sweet or plain. They use homemade yogurt so don't worry about lactose intolerance 😂 I recommend #1 to start with. The mango sago is also good. …

Visiting Houston and found this place next to hmart and wanted to give it a try. I got the yomies purple rice yogurt smoothie and my wife got jujube purple rice yogurt. They were both really good except for some of the pieces of rice were under cooked. Other than that I would still go back to try another flavored drink and maybe get it with oat to try something different.
