ZOË Massage at South End

I had my first-ever massage at Zoe Spa South End and it was amazing! The vibe was so warm and clean, and they even greeted me with a drink when I arrived. The staff was very accommodating about adding my gift card after I booked the appointment online and missed to include it. The day of, they also reached out that I could move my appointment 30 mins earlier if I’d like since there was an opening which I appreciated. Jess was incredible—she helped me pick out some great scents and nailed the pressure. I left feeling more relaxed than I have in ages. If you’re going, definitely book with Jess!

Joe was amazing! I’ve had numerous massages in my lifetime, and I can honestly say this was by far the best! He eased my nerve pain and got out knots I didn’t even know I had. The massage rooms are lovely, and the entire environment was relaxing and wonderful!

I’m writing this review because I am extremely disappointed and honestly appalled by the way my friend was treated. We drove all the way from Greensboro and ran into significant road construction along the way. We called repeatedly to let them know we were running late, but no one answered the phone. We ended up arriving about 30 minutes late. My friend had already been there before and had completed all of the required paperwork. Yet when we arrived, they were not prepared for her at all. Instead of simply communicating with us about the appointment, they spent time badgering her about paperwork she had already completed. We were then told that she would only receive a 30-minute massage because we were late. Fine—we understood that the late arrival could affect the appointment. But if you’re going to reduce someone’s appointment time, the least you can do is provide the full 30 minutes you agreed to provide. She did not receive a full 30-minute massage. What made the situation even more ridiculous my friend told me that the massage therapist “ did not do a good job.” . My friend had asked to come back at a later, time. but they declined . So essentially, my friend was expected to accept an incomplete service, while they took no responsibility for how poorly the situation was handled. Yes, we were late. But we made every effort to communicate that. You cannot ignore multiple phone calls, fail to be prepared for the client, waste additional time on paperwork that had already been completed, provide less than the 30 minutes you said she would receive, and then act as though the entire situation was the customer’s fault. That is not good customer service. We drove from Greensboro expecting a professional experience, and instead we were met with poor communication, unnecessary attitude, and a complete lack of accountability. The way my friend was treated was unfair and completely unreasonable. This wasn’t about expecting special treatment because we were late. It was about basic professionalism, communication, and getting what was promised. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when they have made the effort to travel a considerable distance and repeatedly tried to communicate with the business.

Thank you Jess! I came here for my birthday and got the birthday package which included a alch beverage, a gift bag and 60 mins massage. She was very attentive, asked me what my focus points were & Made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I feel good & I will be back!
