Excellent food in a great venue. We really enjoyed our lunch and especially the Basque Cheesecake. Take a few minutes off the strip and check out this fresh ingredients location in the up and coming arts district. Ask for Kennedy and you’ll be glad you did.

Was visiting with friends for brunch. Waiter was great. Food great. Generous portions. Just be aware the first Friday of the month there is a street fair nearby that causes some traffic. We got the Pastrami Reuben, Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and Chinois Chicken Salad (not sandwich) all yummy.

My family loves this place and the staff is wonderful! The food is always great and we come here a lot. Everything from the fresh baked breads and pastries to all the breakfast, brunch, and lunch items. The Asian chicken salad, burger, steak frites, croissant, and basque cheesecake are some of my personal faves.

I was in town visiting a friend and I said that I wanted to go to a place that had real pastries and coffee, not the shipped in, reheated kind. We found a place, went in, sat down and looked at the menu and it wasn't what we were looking for so we left and decided to try 1228 instead and that was absolutely the right call! I could tell immediately that it was exactly what I was wanting! The display of beautifully made pastries caught my eye immediately and when I looked at the menu, I knew it was legit coffee because they didn't offer 16oz cappuccinos! (IYKYK). Our server was incredible! I am not going to get her name right but she is beautiful with the most amazing, wild hair! She explained everything to us and answered all our questions. You know you're getting good coffee when you can drink it drip style with nothing added! SO GOOD! We ordered more than our fair share from the menu and everything was delicious and the presentation was thoughtful, not sloppy. Everything was exactly as it should be. This place has high end, upscale food and service matched with that perfect, easy, casual Sunday morning vibe. We enjoyed everything so much that when I flew back home, I was saying that the only reason for my next visit back to Vegas would be to go back to 1228! And that's exactly what happened. I planned another trip and we went right back to 1228! My second experience was just as amazing! We talked to the manager that day and shared about our first visit with her and she was so grateful. She came by to check on us later and brought us a complimentary fresh pastry! I really can't say enough about this place. Whether you live in Vegas or are just visiting like me, please make the effort to go show some love! They will love you back! I also bought a 2lb bag of their coffee to take back with me! So now I get to have that amazing coffee every morning! There is a lot to know about where the coffee is from and how it's grown and why the flavor is so good! Ask about it when you go and take some home with you as well! Can't wait for my next visit!
