Sign in to reviewHigh quality food with interesting coffees & healthy drinks. I had bun tam bi and my partner had the sausage banh mi. Both were made with TLC and tasted great. Then got Vietnamese coffee with light condensed milk(not too sweet) and rau ma(earthy nasturtium taste) to go. There was only one person working in there so I suggest going there when you're not in a hurry. This neighborhood needs more places like this. Wholesome delicious restaurants with friendly vibes. Only 2 tables in there so it's good for a couple small groups or takeout.
First time trying it after many attempts. This place gets busy! Take out available only for sandwiches which are, IMO, the most exquisite bánh mì in the Bay 😛 Chef Paulette makes a mean pork belly and jam sandwich! With chunks of flavorful golden pork and crisp pickled veggies. I had the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and it was pure perfection. It seems they are having dinner on Thursday with a chef’s menu for the summer with Vietnamese dishes not often seen in restaurants 🤩. I made a reservation and can’t wait to try it!! The place is adorable and I wish I had my pad with me to do some sketching, the decoration is graceful and intentional. Ideal for a lunch date, catching up with a friend, or a solo treat with a book.
Ohhhh this place is so special!!! I just love how their food is authentic and made with love and care. Atmosphere is welcoming, warmth and always good vibes.
A welcome addition to the Foothill Blvd dining scene, this Vietnamese breakfast-brunch-lunch cafe serves a streamlined menu of regularly updated meat, vegan and gluten free options. At the beach noodles (bun tam bi), with refreshingly light coconut broth and assortment of fresh herbs and bean sprouts. D-light rolls (bo bia chay), clean crunch and satisfyingly plant-based — jicama a wonderful touch. Betel-wrapped beef over vermicelli, a unique herbaceous treat. Street side stool seating like back in Vietnam. Stay tuned for BYO happy hour soon to come!
Homemade sausage bahn mi was delicious, fresh and the slightly warm baguette had just the right amount of extra crunch to set this apart for your standard bahn mi. Tofu and taro bún noodles was especially yummy because of just a touch of coconut cream that created a silkiness that elevated this to the next level. Really stands apart from the usual bún noodle dish! Check out the photo for the slightly glossy silky sheen!
