5280 NAILS & SPA

I’m really disappointed by the experience and results of my full acrylic set of nails. I got recommended this place by a great salon that unfortunately does not do acrylic. I was so excited by the reviews to come here but it was not it. I don’t know the name of the nail tech but she was quiet and didn’t speak English. But she was very pretty and kind. In the beginning due to the language barrier she cut the plastic too short but I told her I wanted the length of the picture but she didn’t look at the picture and I’m not sure why. Throughout the whole service I had to remind her to look at the picture… I’m guessing out of experience she isn’t used to doing nail sets like these. But to be fair I did ask her in the beginning if she can do it and she said yes I always ask nail techs if they can pull off a set whether it’s challenging or not. I would have totally understood if she couldn’t do it but let me know and I’ll very respectfully request another experienced nail tech. The nails are so sloppy and thick. She made 2 of the French tips white. And the rest that were suppose to be a dusty pink were like a stain over white gel which is what she did and she could not design the flowers. They did let me know ahead of time they didn’t have pink bows so I chose the pretty silver ones but why make the French tip white still. Again I told the nail tech “Can you please make the white pink like the rest” she decided not too listen. I noticed she was struggling so bad during the whole thing and so eventually I just gave up and planned on letting the main girl know of the issue once I checked out from the service. And she proceeded to tell me that she would only take 10% off the service because I failed to communicate throughout the service. I did communicate almost throughout the whole entire service. But because the lady couldn’t understand me she would not listen or understand. The main lady kept coming up saying numerous times they are so pretty and exactly like the picture knowing very well it was the exact opposite. The nail tech also failed to really shape my nails and clean them up closing up the service. I still had very dry hands full of nail dust after the service as well as the nail station being very dirty with old multi-use tools, there was no cleanliness. I hope this hasn’t happened because the nail tech had to take off the first plastic tip and redo it to make them longer. This was $112 with the inconsiderate 10% discount at the end of the service and couldn’t offer even an apology. Just told me I had to communicate next time. I’m going to post the inspiration picture and results. 5280 Nails And Spa do better. I would appreciate a Venmo with half of the cost reimbursement because this was such a bad experience from a young girl who works a tough job and just wanted her nails done.

Jennifer (Jenny) did a fantastic job! She took her time taking off my old set from a previous salon (we wished we got before photos, the results are night and day!) Jenny was thorough, kind, and did a great job. I am so happy with my experience and my nails!

Got an amazing Gel Manicure with Kelly! One of the best, even and well attended to manicures I have had in a long time. Very good pricing especially for the Cherry Creek area. Highly recommend!

Kim is AMAZING!! She did my nails for my wedding and she did a fantastic job, I love them! The salon is very clean and everyone is very friendly. I absolutely recommend!!
