Sign in to reviewWe were in the mood for boba drink. We were greeting by Gorski, who helped us with drink recommendations that fit exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet store, great for hanging or studying. They also have macaroons and other pastries for purchase.
The summer mint is my favorite and I get that all the time I go there. The problem isn’t the people there nor the inside of their location. It’s their measuring technique. I bought both regular and large to compare. You are essentially paying for 70% ice and 30% juice. If u tell them easy on ice they only fill 50% juice. You are essentially paying to be robbed. Very unfortunate because the drinks are great.
EDIT : down to one star because there was a fly in my drink… felt something crunchy and thought it was uncooked tapioca and spat the fly out… $7.91 is what a large jasmine milk tea with boba costed me ; not a special drink. The drink itself is very watered down and the jasmine tea is very mild. The boba is overcooked to the point of being mushy. First time here and saw a drive thru which was cool, but for the price for the basic drink I got (that wasn’t good), I don’t plan on returning in the future. The service was quick and kind.
We ordered two drinks at the drive through with light ice as usual. After paying and waiting around 15 minutes the employee comes back to us and asks us what we ordered. We repeat our order and she closed the drive thru window. After another 5-10 minutes she comes out with our order but the drinks were made incorrectly. We asked her to please correct the order and gave the drinks back. She then comes back 5 minutes later and hands us the two drinks. One of the drinks that she gave was not completely filled (1 inch from the top of the drink was missing/empty) and the other was not sealed properly. So once we went to stir our drinks it spilled 🙃. We have since tried to contact them (called and through the website) but they dont seem to care 😔. Sucks but going back doesn't seem worth it for this location.
I usually enjoy supporting local coffee shops, but today was a bit disappointing. My husband ordered an iced coffee for me and specifically asked for no ice since he had a 30-minute drive home and didn’t want it to water down. Instead of filling the cup with coffee to make up for the space where the ice would be, they handed him a cup that was only about half full. I understand that recipes are portioned, but it would’ve been nice to either fill the cup or offer a larger size when someone asks for no ice—especially considering the drink is being paid for at full price. It left us feeling like we paid the same for much less, which isn’t the best customer experience.
