Sign in to reviewI like coming to this 99 Ranch location because it's conveniently surrounded by so many other stores. It's close to Costco and H-Mart, and near H-Mart you'll also find Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours. There's an 85°C nearby as well and with Costco right next door, you could easily spend half a day hopping between all these places. On weekends, traffic can be pretty crazy and parking isn't easy since everyone shops then. However, if you come on a weekday especially outside of lunchtime--it's much easier to find a parking spot. Inside 99 Ranch, there's a food court with options like San dong noodles, dim sum, stir-fry dishes, and Chinese barbecue. On the other side of the plaza, there are also several restaurants, including Korean spots and Vietnamese crawfish places. As for the store itself, there are always clearance items near the Kung Fu Tea area, which we usually check out before heading in to shop for fruits, produce, vegetables--pretty much everything. I found my favorite Japanese soy milk but this was banana flavored. Way too sweet for me and it was $4/carton. It's a large store and they offer a loyalty program. If it's your first time visiting 99 Ranch, you could easily spend an hour just roaming the aisles. There's so much to see--it almost feels like a little field trip every time we go.
Looks like an out of business Kmart converted into a 99 ranch. I have been to a lot 99 ranches in Cali and this one might be the largest and cleanest of them all. Still far from whole foods standards but credit given where it's due. I came here mostly for a soy sauce. I was expecting the usual kikkoman in large quantities. Naturally brewed no preservatives. There were some but definitely not featured and no big jugs. However I found this gem of a soy sauce. Out dozens I have tried this might be the best - 99 ranches oven organic low sodium sauce. I still can't believe it
I always stop in here when I'm in Houston and want good Vietnamese food. I had pho with steak; delicious broth, just the right amount of noodles, plenty of meat. Love the spring rolls with beef. I always get the Mi Quang, a house special which is delicious and not available at all Vietnamese restaurants.
I came in looking for a type of instant coffee that was a sample in the package I usually buy. The cashier directed me to Michelle, the supervisor on duty. She immediately shut me down saying she doesn’t know what’s in the packages and whatever is on the shelf is what they have. Clearly I had looked for it myself, but was not able to find it. Terrible customer service to not even try to help look for it. I come here quite often and this is the first time an employee has been so rude and dismissive.
I always enjoy visiting 99 Ranch Market to buy my Korean face masks and skincare products. The selection of Korean beauty items is excellent, and I can always find great creams, serums, and masks at good prices. One of the best parts of shopping there is the wonderful customer service. The lady who helps me is always so welcoming, kind, and attentive. She takes the time to recommend products and is generous enough to give me extra samples of different creams and serums to try, which I truly appreciate. It makes the shopping experience feel very personal and enjoyable every time I visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Korean skincare products and friendly customer service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
