Sign in to reviewThis place is hands down one of the best places for Matcha. I was recommended this place by so many friends and right they were! I only ordered the Einspanner matcha and the Ube Matcha. The Einspanner was the best I have ever had--with a thorough, robust matcha flavor. It is obvious that the matcha is pure and high quality. The crème that tops the Einspanner is also finely crafted--sweet, and fluffy in texture. When stirred the drink makes a great, almost pleasantly addictive mixture. The Ube was also a good drink, especially since the Ube also tasted very authentic and un-compromised. However, I would definitely recommend the Einspanner matcha as its flavor and composition is fairly unique to Airoma and no where else. The interior was modern, well kept, and organized. Though the place was slightly busy when we came, the cafe was quite spacious and--despite the high number of people present--did not feel crowded. The workers are very efficient and quickly take orders and put out drinks. Even with a long line upon my arrival, I moved quickly through the line and I was in and out in less than 8 minutes.
Delicious matcha and great customer service! When I got up to the counter I still hadn't decided on my order so I asked the worker for a recommendation between the matcha pandan and einspanner. She let me know the einspanner was the less sweet of the two, so I went with the einspanner. The einspanner was delicious, super creamy, but a touch too sweet for my taste. They have some tables, chairs, and outlets but if recommend arriving early if you want a table. I arrived just before noon on a Saturday and every table was already taken
Actually some of the most peak Vietnamese style drinks in all of Garden Grove. Long lines (tiktok💔) but the service is so streamlined you get your drinks quickly. I know everybody's on this matcha trend but it was never a trend to me... Ground down green tea leaves, you will always be famous. To me. While not quite authentic Viet drinks, it's a tasty tribute to Asian flavors for an Americanized pallet. Diaspora in the best possible way.
was not expecting this pandan-matcha alliance to actually work; the pandan brings a nutty-vanilla sweetness to the matcha's bright grassy edge in a silky blend, but the matcha does kinda take over after the first couple sips. and side note, my friend's ube matcha looks hella yuck but the tastes were spot-on across the board 🥳
Airoma matcha is worth the hype! They blew up on social media because of their wide variety of matcha drinks, and they do not disappoint. My favorite drinks are the matcha einspanner or the double matcha. The drinks are on the pricier side, but they do use a lot of matcha in their drinks! This location has a good amount of seating if you need to do work or study. They also have a lot of outlets, which is a plus!
