The restaurant's name, "Ăn," meaning "to eat" in Vietnamese, reflects a simple yet profound philosophy—food is meant to be savored, shared, and celebrated. From the moment you step inside, you will notice the beautiful décor and a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. One of the standout features at Ăn is the complimentary baguette served with butter, sugar, and condensed milk—a delightful nod to Vietnamese-French culinary traditions that provides a wonderful start to any meal. When it comes to the main dishes, several customer favorites have emerged. The Bún Riêu, a crab and tomato-based noodle soup, is praised for its rich, deeply tomato-forward broth, fresh shredded water spinach, banana blossoms, and exceptionally fresh duck blood. Diners describe it as amazing and note the care put into every ingredient. The Bò Né, a sizzling steak and egg dish, also receives high marks for its perfectly runny egg, generous portions, and balanced seasoning. For those visiting on weekends, the Bún Mắm—a fermented fish noodle soup that is a true Southern Vietnamese delicacy—is worth seeking out. Regulars have been known to wait months for its return, a testament to its popularity and the skill with which it is prepared.

The drink menu at Ăn is equally thoughtful. Guests can enjoy traditional Vietnamese coffee, including Cà Phê Nhỏ Giọt, a slow-drip coffee that showcases the deep, robust flavors Vietnamese coffee is known for. Other refreshing options like Chanh Muối and creative cold drinks offer something for every palate. Reviewers consistently note that the flavoring in both the food and beverages strikes a perfect balance—neither overwhelming nor underwhelming—which speaks to the kitchen's attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Beyond the food, what truly sets Ăn apart is its value. Customers frequently mention that the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of ingredients and the level of service received. In a region where Vietnamese dining options are abundant, this restaurant distinguishes itself by focusing on freshness, authenticity, and an elevated presentation that does not sacrifice the soul of traditional Vietnamese home cooking. A wonderful find for anyone seeking authentic yet elevated Vietnamese flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for enjoying a long lunch with family and friends. I was lucky enough to try their weekend’s Bun Mam, over heard the guy next table waited over 2 months to get to have it again, because he had it at the last location.

This restaurant is newly opened for 2 months now! The restaurant is decorated beautifully, loved the whimsical music. I ordered bun rieu! It was amazing! Very tomato eeeee, loved the shredded water spinach and banana blossoms, the duck blood was so fresh. Actually everything was so so fresh no bad after taste. I really really appreciate the little touches of all the sauces to the toppings. My friend orders the com tam. The pork was perfectly charred, caramelized, juicy. It Included shredded pork, skin, steamed pork egg cake and fried eggs, green onion oil and crispy pork lard. I ordered the fermented lemon ice drink, and my friend got the Leche lemonade. Both were so so amazingly fresh, They even give us extra juice on the side to make a second drink if we finish the first one. The owner was so friendly, Attentive and amazing! Cannot wait to come back! 10000/100 recommended

Very happy this place is in the neighborhood now. Went for Brunch with my friend and she got Bun Rieu. Food: 5/5, the complementary bread with butter, sugar, and condensed milk was amazing to start off with. The Bò Né was pretty much perfect, the egg was runny, portions were great, there was arguably “too much” steak in comparison, but who’s gonna complain. The bread was obviously fresh and it came with a little Thai and I’m someone who can’t eat without some level of spice so that immediately made the food 5/5. I really hope they don’t change a single thing about the food. Service: so they had a physical waitlist that I signed into, but it seemed like there’s just more of an unofficial stand in line right out front the door and just wait. In the future, if it does become an issue I hope they move to some kind of Yelp waitlist kiosk or something cause I could see it being an issue with how limited the space is inside. The girl who was hostess and waitress for us was very polite, she thought my Japanese friend was viet so she took our order in English and then every time she came back she spoke viet to her which I thought was funny, we never bothered correcting her cause it was obvious what she was saying. Overall she seemed a little new to service, I never got utensils so I just stole the salad fork. Atmosphere: the bathroom was extremely cute and the aesthetic itself was 10/10. The only complaint I had was that the table setup felt a little busy. There was like a tablecloth with another thick woven pad on it. Wouldn’t be an issue if the table wasn’t pretty unstable, i was in the corner so I had nowhere else to put my feet, but if I moved the table would wobble and I definitely thought I was gonna spill my drink or friends soup if I got up. If they could just adjust that it’d be perfect, but I honestly can’t say I’d be 100% comfortable bringing someone with mobility issues inside. Super cute place though.

We were greeted warmly by the restaurant. They gave us complimentary baguette in the beginning. We had ca phê nho giot, chanh muoi co 8, xanh chill, bùn riêu, bo ne. All the flavoring in the drinks and food were at a perfect flavoring level; neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. I appreciate the thought of them giving extra citrus and syrup in case I wanted to add more to the drink but it wasn’t needed for me. The bun rieu is on the sweet and tangy side and they give a good portion of ingredients in it. The bo ne came out on a sizzling hot plate and the steak came out medium well. Overall, everything tastes delicious! Very happy to see this restaurant arrive in the neighborhood!
