Best food (and dining) in the area. If you haven’t eaten Anise yet, you are missing out: the clean, beautiful interior; the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere; the impeccable food and service. I’m sure their food is great as take out, but I definitely would suggest making the trip to dine in person. Never had a bad experience or dish here. Everyone is kind and the quality food makes this place a stand out.

Best lunch on the Burlington Pike. Bahn mi with roast pork had choice, high quality pork; crisp and flavorful vegetables, and an ideal roll. I which I had the option to add paté. I wish the sandwich had been cut in half so I could do the proper cross-section photo. Also, some people would probably want more meat in the sandwich, but I strongly prefer quality over quantity, and I'm very satisfied with what I got. This is one of the very tastiest bahn mi without paté I've ever had. I wanna come back and get one that's sliced so I can get a more Instagram-worthy photo 😁

My husband and I came for dinner Friday night - incredible beef scallion wraps, grilled beef pho, and grilled chicken vermicelli bowl. This food is beyond delicious!! I definitely will be back for a banh mi and summer rolls. Our waitress was also absolutely delightful and friendly! No photos because we were so busy eating. And they are BYOB!

There is NOTHING bad I can say about this place. The food was DELICIOUS. Everything that I had was fresh and hot and tasted like it was made with love. From the tacos, bahn mi and the oxtail pho soup I was impressed. The customer service was very good as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. I can definitely say that I'll be back again. First impression was a good one. I left there feeling happy and full 😌

I had the pleasure of dining at Anise Vietnamese Cuisine on a Sunday around 4 PM. From the moment we walked in, the experience was off to a great start. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm hello, which set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. Since it wasn’t too busy at that time, we were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. I ordered the rare round eye steak pho along with a side of thinly sliced grilled beef. The food arrived quickly, and the aroma was mouthwatering. The presentation was inviting, and I was eager to dig in. The thinly sliced grilled beef looked absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its appearance. The initial taste was fine, but after chewing, an overwhelming bitter aftertaste made it inedible for me. It was a major letdown, and I’d have to rate it a disappointing 1/10. Thankfully, the pho was the saving grace of the meal. The broth was incredibly aromatic, rich in flavor, and deeply satisfying. Every spoonful was comforting and full of depth, making it a strong 8/10 in my book. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent—clean, cozy, and well-lit—which deserves a perfect 10/10. Despite the misstep with the grilled beef, my overall experience was positive. I would definitely return to try other dishes, as the service and ambiance were top-notch.
