Sign in to reviewDining at An Nam is an experience. I won't even talk about the ambience because I've never been to another Vietnamese restaurant that even comes close to it. U have to see it in person because pictures don't do it any justice. If u prefer quality over quantity, this place is for u. I can guaranty u won't find another Vietnamese restaurant like this anywhere else. Imagine all your favorite Vietnamese dishes, but made with the best ingredients available. I'm not a picky eater, but I DO prefer the better cuts of meat and the freshest fish from the sea. My absolute fav is the roasted branzino and quail. I don't usually like quails because it's usually very dry, barely have any meat on them, and sometimes gamey! An Nam's quail is deboned, tender, plump, and juicy. I also stay away from lamb because of the smell but the lamb here is amazing! We tried a lot of stuff and everything was so good but the quail, lamb chops, steak, imperial roll, and of course canh chua & cá kho, and ANY dish with fish in it was superior. I am a fish snob because my husband is a fisherman, we are used to eating fish from the ocean to table. I don't order fish at restaurants because I am sensitive to smells when the fish is not freshly caught, but leave it to An Nam to prepare the freshest and superior fish dishes. Don't take my word for it though, like I said, An Nam is an experience, even if u can't find one thing u like, (which I highly doubt) just seeing the place is worth the trip.
Annam offers a refined Michelin-star experience that feels both intentional and well-executed. The menu balances elegance with flavor, and each dish reflects a strong attention to detail. The filet mignon was cooked with precision—tender, well-seasoned, and rich without being overwhelming. The grilled branzino stood out for its freshness and delicate flavor, complemented by a clean, balanced presentation that allowed the ingredients to shine. What elevates the experience is the consistency—from plating to flavor to service. Courses are paced thoughtfully, and the staff maintains a polished, attentive presence throughout. A sophisticated take on fine dining that delivers both technically and experientially!
We had a lovely galentines dinner here- shared everything we ordered between the 4 of us and I’m glad we got to try so many things! Their egg rolls are possibly the best I have ever had (so crunchy!!), and we also enjoyed the lemongrass tofu and shaking beef entrees (the beef is soooo tender). There are a couple different valet parking options, and a self parking garage about a block away if you prefer. I made a reservation for Tuesday night but there were still plenty of tables and you could easily just walk in. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and so is the bar, it would be a great place for a romantic date.
Amazing amazing. The textures, freshness, and flavor-packed combinations are out of this world. I have never experienced Vietnamese food in such an innovative and elevated way. This place makes you proud to be Vietnamese and invite everyone you know to visit so they can experience it too. I hope to never forget the squash blossom (lightly crispy but bouncy shrimp filling) pork jowl lettuce wrap (chewy texture makes you want more), Wagyu betel leaf, skull island chili garlic prawn, lamb chops (I savored every morsel), pan fry whole branzino (entire thing deboned), shaking beef (if you want melt in your mouth filet)! Finish off with the Pandan cake so you can ascend even further. The lightness of the cake, yet savory center, resets your tastebuds.
annam vietnam restaurant is sophisticated and upscale. the food was decent but the flavors were repetitive. all the meats dishes including the mushroom clay pot unfortunately tasted the same. the imperial roll, soup, and mango dessert were the stand out dishes. everything was thoughtfully plated, but i’d go elsewhere for more authentic vietnamese food! note they validate parking garage tickets!
