Tucked into a convenient South San Jose shopping area near local gyms and everyday errands, this salon has become a regular stop for community members who value clean, friendly service without the pretense. With more than 125 customer reviews and a steady 4-star rating, Annie's Design Nail has earned trust the old-fashioned way — through consistent care and welcoming smiles that keep clients coming back week after week.
The salon's pedicures are a standout favorite among regulars. Customers frequently praise the attentive, thorough work that leaves tired feet feeling completely renewed. One reviewer shared that after visiting for the first time on a whim, their technician became their "favorite person in San Jose." Whether you opt for a standard pedicure or indulge in the deluxe gel pedicure — which includes a relaxing massage that reviewers say is worth every penny — the technicians take their time and pay close attention to comfort. For anyone whose feet need a little extra TLC, this is the kind of salon that delivers real, noticeable results.
The atmosphere inside Annie's Design Nail is bright, clean, and well-stocked, creating a space where clients feel at ease the moment they walk through the door. Staff members are consistently described as friendly and welcoming, making both first-time visitors and long-time regulars feel right at home. Walk-ins are welcome, which is a convenient option for busy San Jose residents who want to squeeze in some self-care without planning days ahead. The salon sees steady foot traffic, especially on weekends, but reviewers note that wait times are generally reasonable and the team does their best to keep things moving smoothly.
Annie's Design Nail operates seven days a week with extended hours, opening Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This flexible schedule makes it easy to book an appointment before work, during a lunch break, or on a leisurely weekend afternoon. The Branham Lane location offers easy access with parking available on-site, so you can stop by without the stress of circling the block.
While the salon earns high marks for pedicures and basic nail services, it's worth noting that more intricate nail art and acrylic designs may yield mixed results depending on the request and technician. Customers looking for classic manicures and pampering pedicures will likely find exactly what they need here. If you're in the San Jose area and searching for a reliable, no-fuss nail salon with a welcoming Vietnamese-owned atmosphere, Annie's Design Nail is well worth a visit.

Sign in to reviewI use the gym next door and dropped in one day out of curiosity because my feet had been bothering me. After one visit, sure my toes looked good, but mostly, my horrible man-feet had been repaired. My technician, "Na" is now my favorite person in San Jose. The place is clean, the staff is nice, it's in a convenient location, AND... they have the awesome massage chairs. I just did it again today and I can't wait to go back.
Linda did a great job with my walk-in pedi on a busy afternoon. I went with the deluxe gel pedi, and the massage was worth every penny! I’m coming back for a manicure another day. I highly recommend the salon. Everyone was friendly, it was clean and bright, and well-stocked. I didn’t see anyone wait more than a minute or two, even though chairs were occupied the entire time.
the two stars are solely for the pedicure i got, the lady was so sweet and attentive and gave the best pedicure i’ve ever had. The manicure was the exact opposite. I never leave reviews but this girl kept shoving my hands around and filing very roughly. When she shaved down my lumpy acrylics that were way too big for my nails, she cut almost every single one of my cuticles and I started bleeding. then she asked what color I want and without asking if I wanted a design, she just started painting my entire nail one color. I just wanted it to be over so I didn’t even care at that point, until she started wiping acetone on my cuticles and rubbing it into every cut on my fingers. So many parts that I left out but here’s what I went in expecting and here’s what I got… This place is good for gel polish and pedicures but honestly, go somewhere else for fake nails or designs. I got these nails for a wedding this weekend and I already wish I could take them off.
the people were very nice and welcoming however the set i ended up walking out with did not match the inspo pic whatsoever. my nails are too thick and a little bumpy and the french tip is not straight at all. i showed them a picture they said they could do it but ended up telling me they don’t have the right materials for it after they already started. disappointed bc i really wanted to like this spot but i don’t think i will be going back
I had asked for ombré coffin nails and while Thao was doing my nails she kept flooding my cuticles with acrylic. I kept asking her to fix the ombré since it just looks like a straight line between the white and pink and doesn’t look flush how ombré is supposed too. I have always come here for ombré and always loved them. But now I do not recommend. Super upset.
