I had my bangs / hair trimmed previously over the last couple of years by Jeanette, Jamie, and Yamilec and always had an exceptional experience with them. I went in the other day to get a bang trim/curtain bangs with Lina since my usual stylists were not available and I’m not sure what got lost in translation. I was in the process of growing out my bangs entirely since January and decided it was time to just clean them up since they were looking a little bit not blended from the grow out. I requested to also keep them as long as possible so I can keep growing them out. She cut them shorter and choppy. I don’t think the result was as dramatic as I thought because she has styled them to the side so it wasn’t until I got home I realized how choppy they were so I scheduled another appointment with the soonest availability with Chris. Requested the same as with Lina- except to also somehow salvage what had been done, keep them as long as possible, and to make them blended correctly. I had a similar result where it looked to be a bit better until I got home and realized it looked nearly the same and still not blended. Not sure why either of these stylists were not able to accomplish a simple curtain bang especially since I’ve had it done quickly and efficiently without any issue in the past at this salon. I’m now left with bangs that look choppy and uneven and what’s worse is months of grow out time that can’t be reversed. I’m really disappointed and am now finding myself looking into a pricier salon just to fix what had been done.
