Welcome to Asian Grocery Market, an established neighborhood Asian grocery store located along Columbia Pike in Arlington. While sprawling commercial supermarkets dominate modern retail, this independent corner market offers a refreshing, personalized shopping experience centered on traditional neighborhood hospitality. Operating seven days a week from early morning to late evening, the shop provides an accessible daily resource for everyday cooking ingredients, quick snacks, and pantry staples that local home cooks and busy commuters rely on.

At the center of the market's charm is its genuinely family-run foundation. Operated collaboratively by a welcoming husband, his wife, and her sister, the storefront provides a warm, personal atmosphere from the moment you step up to the counter. Shoppers regularly appreciate the sincere kindness of the family, whether they are dropping by for a midday lunch bite or picking up essential supplies after work. That neighborly attention to detail extends to thoughtful customer care, creating an easygoing environment where shoppers feel valued.

The shelves inside reflect a practical, cross-cultural inventory that brings together varied culinary traditions. While operating under an Asian market banner, the store has organically evolved into a versatile international convenience market. Home cooks can find essential Asian kitchen foundations like bottled fish sauce and sriracha, making it a lifesaver when an indispensable sauce runs out mid-recipe. Alongside these Asian staples, the store carries a dedicated selection of Latin and Hispanic goods, including classic seasonings like sazón and adobo, canned pantry basics, and savory prepared bites such as warm tamales de pollo for an on-the-go snack.

For anyone visiting the shop along Columbia Pike, keeping a few practical logistics in mind ensures an effortless trip. Most importantly, the store operates on a strict cash-only policy, meaning visitors should ensure they bring physical cash rather than debit or credit cards before heading to the register. In addition, the shop provides remarkable scheduling convenience, keeping its doors open consistently from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every single day of the week, from Monday through Sunday. This generous schedule accommodates early morning shoppers, lunchtime visitors, and evening commuters alike.

In an age filled with self-checkout counters and impersonal big-box stores, Asian Grocery Market in Arlington preserves the timeless appeal of a humble neighborhood bodega. It is ideal for local apartment dwellers, nearby workers seeking a quick lunch, and home chefs in need of pantry seasonings without traversing a massive shopping center. Through practical everyday goods and heartfelt family service, the market continues to provide a dependable, authentic service to the Arlington community.

This place doesn't exist as on 2/4/2026 I believe they just did not remove the sign. It is two separate Hispanic convenience/ grocery stores in its place. I was looking for Korean food, you can imagine my surprise when I walked in and there was a Hispanic man sitting at the register, not even lifting his eyes from his phone then On all the shelves Spanish food only. I walked out, walked in next door and same thing only the lady there was smiling and welcomed me In, but again just Spanish grocery and goods.

I ran out of fish sauce and decided to stop by here since it was the closest one that most likely would've had fish sauce. They have a decent selection, but they take ONLY cash. The fish sauce I bought was $1 and some change. I had to go …

Note: Does not take credit cards, cash only. Limited selection of produce and is mostly latin food with some sriracha. Prices run the same as chain grocery.
