Been living in the area for decades and have been eating here less and less frequently, checking in about yearly to see of any changes. The pho here is DECENT: the broth is very clean but lacks depth/flavor, as if something was missing in the simmering process (you can see the lightness in the broth). Meat quality isn’t bad but could be more tender. Service is something else: slow, occasionally rude (over several visits), and sometimes seems deliberately inattentive. I sat waiting 5 mins for service once in an empty restaurant. I would spend the extra 10 mins to drive to Garland for quality pho/service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND UNSANITARY CONDITIONS. I saw roaches on the floor while I was there. A man tried to tell me where to sit even though I was already seated. When I said I did not want to sit on a hard chair, he began cursing at me in Vietnamese. The place smelled bad and felt very unclean. They were cooking and eating at the same time. I felt extremely uncomfortable and had to leave. Please be careful and do not become a victim of disrespect or risk getting sick here.
I have been coming to this place for years. The owner is incredibly sweet to me and I haven't had any issues. Their food is absolutely amazing. I come here so often they know my order. The broth itself should be considered liquid gold! 10/10
I order to go a lot and this is the best! Mind you it takes me about 10-15 mins to get back to my job and the broth is still steaming hot!
