Babushka's - Hyde Park

A great restaurant for those wanting to sample Easter European delicacies. The staff were very welcoming when I entered and showed me to my table. The interior is also nicely decorated. The waiter was very helpful when asked questions and provided instructions when presenting new dishes on how to eat them properly, which was much appreciated. I highly reccomend getting the adjaruli khachapuri. I wish I could have it for breakfast everyday. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant for those wishing to try something new, and I will definitely be returning here again to try more new foods.

Another amazing experience at Babushka Restaurant in Tampa! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted incredible. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a nice meal. We enjoyed every bite and left completely satisfied! Definitely one of the best places in Tampa for authentic Eastern European cuisine. Highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

We had a very fun night. Antonne? was our server. He was perfect, didn't miss a beat juggling 10 checks for 13 loud ladies, always with a smile. Down at my end of the table we started my friend's 70th birthday celebration with yummy vodka flights. I sampled the ginger lemon shot. Thumbs up. They had many infused vodka flavors including horseradish which I tasted and delish! I tried a bite of an egg, cheese and bread dish that was very good. The presentation was unique. I had a dumpling it was tasty. My friend really enjoyed the caviar bump. Another praised the blinis. Everyone seemed happy with their apps. I had borscht as my appetizer, I was not impressed. Very little flavor and not a lot of beets or anything. It was rather thin, not hearty. For the main course I had the sampler, beef stroganoff, a lamb and rice dish, stuffed cabbage and chicken Kiev. I got a double order of cabbage and passed of the chicken. The food was abundant and a lot came home with me. Stroganoff A+, Lamb had too much rice (or not enough lamb) too salty and lamb a little dry, C. Cabbage A (I would give it a plus but my aunt Muriel's was better). My neighbor had the lamb kebab, it comes out on a sword. Very dramatic presentation. It was succulent and delicious. Dessert was a crepe with some sort of Almond filling covered with chocolate. It didn't go unfinished, a solid B+ One of the highlights was the huge cup of Cafe au lait which was served with a cookie and somehow was only $4. I would highly recommend Babushka's. They have a unique menu with many delicious foods, great service and a fun atmosphere!

This is the perfect spot to bring friends and family to enjoy Eastern European cuisine. I’m Hungarian, and absolutely love coming here to enjoy elevated versions of the comfort foods I grew up with. The place has a comfortable but elevated atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service. I would say the Temple Terrace location is more family-oriented, but both are great locations. I highly recommend paying a visit to Babushka’s! Thanks Nazar for great service.
