Bali Mart Philly is an Indonesian-focused grocery store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 1551 McKean St, Philadelphia, PA 19145. It brings together Indonesian groceries, snacks, and cooking ingredients, with American products available too. For shoppers looking for familiar Indonesian items or hoping to explore products they may not find at a conventional neighborhood market, Bali Mart Philly offers a convenient local stop. Customers describe a small store with a useful range of goods, and one shopper notes that the selection has grown to include more than Indonesian products. The store is rated 4.4 out of 5 based on 40 reviews, offering a helpful snapshot of local customer feedback.

Reviews point to Indonesian snacks and pantry ingredients as part of the store’s appeal. Shoppers mention finding many of the ingredients they need, along with snacks they enjoy, and one review calls out specials on Teh Kotak. The selection may be especially useful for people preparing Indonesian food at home, replenishing familiar pantry staples, or picking up a snack during an errand. Customers also describe the prices as reasonable, with one reviewer specifically appreciating the cost of ingredients. Rather than suggesting a restaurant or prepared-food service, Bali Mart Philly is best understood as a neighborhood grocery option for packaged products, groceries, and cooking essentials.

The shopping experience sounds personal and approachable. Several customers praise the owner or staff for being friendly, and one reviewer describes the owner as especially welcoming. Practical details matter, too: a customer appreciates being able to pay by credit card, while others mention a clean, neat, and organized shop. Feedback about the layout is not entirely uniform; one shopper describes shelves and refrigerators along one wall as sparsely stocked or somewhat disorganized. That variation gives prospective visitors a more balanced picture: this is a small, independent market, and the selection and presentation may feel different from a larger supermarket. A few customers also mention playful waving-cat decorations and plants near the entrance.

Bali Mart Philly may suit Philadelphia residents seeking Indonesian groceries, people looking for specific ingredients or snacks, and nearby shoppers who value a friendly, independent store. The market is open every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., giving customers a broad window for a visit. Located on McKean Street in Philadelphia, it offers a local source for Indonesian products alongside American grocery items. Whether you are stocking up on pantry basics, browsing for snacks, or checking for a familiar product such as Teh Kotak, customer feedback suggests a useful neighborhood stop with welcoming service and reasonable prices.

A small Indonesian market but it has a lot of snacks that I like. This place accepts credit cards unlike other Indonesian markets which make it convenient and safe to shop. The owner is very friendly. They have specials on teh kotak. The store is neat and organized.

There's a handful of cute lucky waving cats and plants and such as you enter, including something that loudly (audibly) greets you. After entering though it's not really much of a market anymore - there's some sparsely filled, sort of unorganized shelves and fridges along one wall and a bit of random things on tables in the middle but most of the space is now dedicated to electronic gambling machines. What was available were a few Southeast Asian options that could probably be found almost anywhere.
