We were craving steamed rice rolls so we stopped into BCLL for lunch. There was a 30 minute wait when we arrived at 12pm. We ordered #11 (banh cuon) and #10 (rice noodle bowl). The banh cuon had a really chewy texture. It may look small, but it was pretty filling. The rice noodle bowl had a lot of toppings. Overall, this was a great value lunch spot.

I usually don’t crave for bang cuon but decided to tried with it since I’m visiting family here in Cali . The wait was over half an hour on a rainy day but worth it . Their banh cuon was fresh , uniquely made and delicious . Their fish sauce was a match paired with this heavenly dish . Their fish staffs was amazing also. Also their soup noodles are so flavorful and rich .

My first time trying BCLL. It’s definitely a 3.5/5 The banh cuon was thin without falling apart which is not common at other banh cuon restaurants. The filling was small but fit in the banh cuon layer. I ordered the Dac Biet option. It came with Mung bean, fried roll, tofu and Vietnamese ham. I’m not a big fan of the mung bean cake. They gave half of the fried spring roll which was bummer cause that was the best topping out of everything. Cha gio was okay. We ordered a side of grilled pork. That was okay too. I would not come back.

Best banh cuon I've probably ever had. Got the #1 combo plate with everything on it. The rice sheets are perfect and go so well with all the different toppings. The sauce is on the table and you mix in the chilli paste which is so absolutely bomb and legit with a real kick you can tell it's made of fresh chillies. Overall everything just feels so fresh and refreshing and well prepared. This place was so good it's got me thinking about it weeks after haha! Will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the area.

Small place accommodates about 20-30 tightly. Banh cuon was well portioned and well priced. Most importantly it came out super fresh within 5 minutes after the wait staff took orders. The wait staff was nice and patient. The place was packed during lunch hour on weekend so expect a wait. The not so good - the restroom can be hazardous as half of the space was used for storage but managon the weekend
