Tucked away along an interior hallway of the famous Eden Center, Banh Cuon Saigon is a long-standing Vietnamese restaurant in Falls Church, VA that brings authentic street food traditions to Northern Virginia. Operating quietly at 6795 Wilson Blvd #54, this family-oriented establishment has been serving the local community for roughly two decades. While its secluded position away from the main exterior walkways means it enjoys less casual foot traffic, dedicated regulars and discerning food lovers know it as an enduring hidden gem worth discovering for genuine home-style flavors.
The undeniable centerpiece of the menu is the specialty from which the eatery takes its name: bánh cuốn. These delicate, freshly steamed rice flour crepes are masterfully prepared to achieve a tender, translucent texture. Diners can enjoy them filled with savory seasoned pork or sweet minced shrimp, served alongside generous slices of Vietnamese pork roll (chả lụa), crisp bean sprouts, fresh herbs, and golden deep-fried shrimp cakes that provide a delightful crunch. Drizzled with light, house-blended fish sauce, every plate captures the time-honored balance of textures that defines classic Vietnamese breakfast and lunch traditions.
Beyond its celebrated steamed rolls, the kitchen offers a diverse lineup of regional noodle dishes and traditional specialty plates. Soup lovers frequently order the Bun Rieu Dac Biet, a deeply comforting tomato-based noodle soup laden with crab meat, conch, shrimp, fried tofu, and fish cakes. The menu also showcases familiar favorites such as Bun Cha Hanoi with its savory grilled meats, fragrant Bun Bo Hue, rustic Bun Mam, and chewable appetizers like handmade bánh ít. Whether you are in search of a steaming bowl of broth or a dry vermicelli salad plate, the selections reflect the varied and vibrant culinary landscape of Vietnam.
With attentive and friendly table service that readily accommodates diner preferences, the atmosphere remains unpretentious, comfortable, and clean. Banh Cuon Saigon welcomes patrons daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM throughout the entire week, making it a wonderful stop for a relaxed morning bite, an authentic midday lunch, or an early dinner to-go. For anyone shopping or browsing through Eden Center seeking traditional Vietnamese comfort cuisine prepared with patient craftsmanship, this quiet establishment remains a dependable favorite.

I think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Eden Center! Had the Banh Cuon Saigon and the Bun cha Hanoi. Apparently they have been there for 20 years, but because they're tucked away down the hall they don't get much foot traffic. Give it a shot. Looking forward to come back and try the Bun Bo Hue.
Ordered bun mam. Should’ve stuck with their Banh cuon. This soup was so light colored didn’t match the photo. It was not a deep flavor. It was not spicy or stinky fermented. It was good but it ain’t legit bun mam.
I polished off a huge bowl of Bun Rieu Dac Biet (tomato broth noodle soup with crab meat, conch, shrimp, fish cake, and tofu for $16.50) but couldn't resist ordering the Banh Cuon Sai Gon too (shrimp in rice flour rolls, pork in rice flour rolls topped with pork sausage and crispy shrimp cake for $13.75). After all, the restaurant is named Banh Cuon Saigon. Both were delicious and a good size giving value for the price. The Bun Rieu tomato broth was slightly sweet, but that was perfectly balanced when I used a small sauce plate to mix the fermented shrimp paste and chili paste for dipping the noodles and toppings. The Banh Cuon was on point with warm rice rolls, slightly blanched sprouts, and topped with the sausage and shrimp cakes. It all came together when I mixed in the seasoned fish sauce. The two dishes are easily enough for two people. I'm only in the area about once a year, so I had to order both for myself, and look forward to returning when I can.
This restaurant has authentic Vietnamese food and is relatively clean. Our server, Huong, was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. The Bún bò Huế and Bún mắm were truly magnificent. I was particularly impressed by how well the …
Bánh ướt okay, just the right chewiness and not too thick. Fish sauce is a little too sour. Bún mắm is not good. The broth tastes off. They use boiled pork instead of roasted pork.
