Bánh Mì Station

Very nice Vietnamese spot — small, quiet, and perfect for enjoying a meal. I had the lemongrass chicken and it was delicious. I also tried the K‑pop fried chicken with kimchi, and surprisingly the kimchi with mayo tasted amazing. Great place to relax and eat.

Consistently fresh and made to order. I’ve had the brisket and spicy pork, they are both delicious. Though you can get a $5 banh mi in Dallas at a mom & pop shop, they are generous on the proteins which sort of helps with the higher than average price tag for a banh mi in Dallas. 4 stars because of $13 sandwhich price, 5 stars in terms of quality.

We dropped by the Fast Casual Banh Mi Shop. We ordered 2 tasty Banh Mi’s. They weren’t the most traditional sandwiches, but more a modern interpretation of the Banh Mi sandwich. The there was a self service counter and then they brought the food out to you after you order. The restaurant was nice and clean. We thought it was a nice addition to the other restaurants there. We will definitely come back again.

Overall: 2.7/5 [dine in] When we arrived there was someone vacuuming the floor and the staff were all just doing their own thing in complete silence, barely acknowledging that customers had walked in. The person vacuuming had AirPods in and moved on to mopping the dining area without missing a beat. When more guests started coming in they just left the mop standing in the middle of the floor to go man the cashier. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese banh mi, this is not it. These sandwiches lack the depth and umami that make a banh mi a banh mi. We were done after about a quarter of each sandwich but we had a few hours before heading home and did not want to leave food in the car so we forced ourselves to finish. We added jalapeños and they cut thick long slices instead of thin round ones. The bread itself was probably the best part of the whole sandwich. Five Spice Pork Belly ($12.95) + Fried Egg ($1.95): It was alright and the better of the two banh mi we tried but the flavors were quite subtle. Brisket in Coconut Curry ($13.95): I chose this one because it sounded interesting. The brisket in coconut curry was not bad on its own but it just did not belong in a banh mi.

Have ordered from here before, consistently excellent. I was in the area visiting another store and stopped by during a quiet, late afternoon on a Tuesday. They have a cashier and a contactless option, a large tablet. I like the convenience of a visual and It simplifies modifying the dishes. I ordered for takeout within 5 minutes and received my order within 10 minutes. The brisket with coconut curry sandwich is exceptional. Add avocado.
