Review 7/365 Day Challenge Stumbled upon this watering because Quan mi next door had a wait, was taking forever to even be greeted and yet alone sit. My Gfren who was with mee was in a rush so decided to come here for a quick lunch bite. They have a lot of ready to go Vietnamese heat and serve at home food along w spring rolls, banh cuon, Eggrolls and Bao’s. Which they are known for and also banh mi Baguette. Love that they sell items like pate, mayo, pickled veggies and sliced up different meats for your banh mi making at home or the cool banh mi charcuterie board that’s currently in now. What we ordered ~ # 1 combination banh mi was ok ~ # 4 Pork Roll/pork Belly was also ok. - their banh mi baguette was too dry or over toasted. Can hardly taste their pate in it. Not a fan of their banh mi definitely. Sorry to say Bao & Baguette your banh mi is mediocre like your guy associate taking the order. ~ tiramisu coffee was actually pretty good. This i highly recommend. A little bit on the stronger and sweeter side. FYI ~ sugar cane drink was refreshing but My gosh it was literally half full the cup lol. I asked the associate if it was fresh pressed sugar cane and he said it was. I don’t see the machine so it’s done supposedly in the back. On the note, i asked for easy ice, got literally a half full of ice but love they use nugget ice though $ 7.50. Associate guy was mediocre and didn’t seem too friendly, no smile or greeting whatsoever. He was just there to do his job. Mee and my girlfriend felt it. Wasn’t just I. It’s a pretty big fast food to go restaurant with a lot of seatings indoor along with a few tables outside with an umbrella for outdoor seating. The decor was nice simple and clean. Parking is plentiful and a store away from Quan mi restaurant.

raving for some bánh mì and VNese coffee. I drove by this place so many times, and it sure that I ate their foods before from home by someone buying. Love the place, very modern, well decor, well organize, well displaced their foods. They have a lot (80%) of pre-prepared foods for to go. It was early in the morning so their not much so I ordered with a nice and friendly staff and waited for 7-10mins for my bánh (combo, which is just pork load & ham) and coffee and 2 egg rolls. There are inside seating & outside seating which is very cool and chill vibe. The prices are very reasonable & affordable and yes definitely cheaper than other places. Quality wise, it was good, not bad. The bread is abit tough and definitely from yesterday left over, but still good. Their coffee is strong and sweet and egg rolls arw good. I also got a fried pork loaf (cha chien) for $7.50, which is quite reasonable and not bad at all. Overall, reasonably place with reasonable price and decent foods.

I passed by this place… OK let me be honest. I saw a cute girl and decided to follow her in. I decided to get some Bao and a coffee, just to check it out before I come back and get something more substantial. I got two pork Bao $3.60 each and something that starts with the word salt $2.00. But I forgot the name and it’s not on the receipt. I also ordered a tiramisu coffee $5.25. The two pork Bao we’re OK. I ate them in the car on the way home instead of getting home to warm them in the microwave. I’ll do that with the third one. My disappointment came with the tiramisu coffee. Not because it doesn’t taste good, it actually tastes very good. But it was half the cup. The other half was full of ice. At $5.25, we shouldn’t get half cup of ice. Pictures included

It was my first time ordering food at this mostly to go Vietnamese food place but does have few tables for dine in like a McDonalds. Most of the food is in containers, except the banh mi, that you grab what you like and pay at the counter. I ordered the chicken curry, roasted chicken and the Asian beef jerky salad(kho bo). Everything was really good and fresh. The beef jerky salad also had a kidney that was a little harder to chew but I didn't mind so much as I like the obscure taste of the kidney. The price was reasonably good for the value of the food. Basically, good value compared to the price. Also the restaurant feels clean and uncluttered unlike most small Vietnamese restaurants which I don't mind. Makes it feel authentic 😉
