Welcome to Be Banh Mi, a highly regarded Asian restaurant and sandwich destination located at 2180 Pleasant Hill Rd b16 in Duluth, GA. Conveniently situated in the bustling commercial heart of Gwinnett County, this Vietnamese eatery has earned a devoted following among locals seeking authentic street flavors, custom baguettes, and satisfying daytime meals. Holding an impressive 4.4-star rating from hundreds of community reviews, the shop provides a welcoming haven for anyone craving the irresistible crunch and vibrant aromas of classic Vietnamese culinary traditions.

At the core of the dining experience at Be Banh Mi is an extraordinary dedication to the art of the baguette. Unlike typical sandwich shops, this location offers guests a choice of bread styles to match their individual appetite and dietary preference. Diners can select from a classic regular baguette, a slender stick baguette ideal for those seeking a crunchy treat with fewer carbs, or a larger challenger size for hearty appetites. Patrons frequently praise the bread for its delicate, thin crust that retains its satisfying crunch for hours without becoming tough, creating the perfect foundation for every sandwich.

The menu showcases a well-rounded selection of fillings that cater to both traditional tastes and modern cravings. Classic banh mi lovers often reach for the number one house special, generously layered with savory meats, fresh herbs, and flavorful pork floss that introduces a subtle sweetness to every bite. For guests who do not consume pork, the kitchen prepares satisfying alternatives such as the popular KBBQ beef banh mi and teriyaki chicken options. To round out the meal, visitors frequently order the signature salted coffee, a velvety beverage that balances bold espresso depth with a rich, lightly salted foam.

Beyond the food itself, the dining environment at Be Banh Mi stands out for its calm and immaculate setting. Guests frequently highlight the spotless dining area, shiny floors, and tranquil ambiance, which is complemented by low-volume background music suitable for relaxed conversation or a brief solo retreat. For maximum convenience, the restaurant features self-service digital kiosks, allowing patrons to browse the menu, customize their sandwich selections, and place orders smoothly during busy lunch rushes or quick afternoon visits.

Operating seven days a week, the shop welcomes guests from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Whether you are a resident of Duluth, Georgia, commuting along Pleasant Hill Road, or simply exploring the region's diverse Asian food culture, Be Banh Mi delivers quality, cleanliness, and authentic Vietnamese comfort in every single bite.

Had the #1 classic regular size and it was good especially the bread. I didn’t get to eat it fresh but about 4 hours later and it was still crunchy and not chewy like others and it was thin wall which is what a banh mi bread should be like. The pork floss added a sweetness taste. When you bite into the sandwich every ingredient mixed together well. My new place to get a banh mi. Also got the sugarcane drink. It was from a young cane so it wasn’t that sweet but ok. Will definitely return.

It was my first time here and the banh mi I ordered and the salted coffee was so good! I loved how they had the option for a long skinny baguette if you’re trying to eat less carbs and the regular option too! I also don’t eat pork so I’m glad they had a beef option! I definitely will come back!

I’m not the type of person to write reviews but considering my very first time ended in disappointment I figured I’d save others the trouble. I did my order on the kiosk because no one was at the register. I waited over 30 mins for my teriyaki chicken bahn mi only for it to be dry and taste like old chicken, they barely put any meat on it considering how big the bread is. Don’t let the sauce on the chicken (in picture) fool you. The chicken was so bad I couldn’t continue eating. The only decent thing was the bread. I wanted to have a filling lunch and ended up eating nothing and wasting my time, I was better off going next door to Bbmyun like I originally intended but I decided to try something new. Never again. It really sucks because I been looking for a good bahn mi spot and the reviews about this place were good.

This is one of my favorite banh mi places. I love the three different sizes of sandwich bread you can pick from: regular, stick or challenger. I especially love the stick because I like the skinny and crunchy bread. Here are the banh mi …

Awesome banh mi place. Atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful with a moderate music volume, the entire place seemed to be entirely cleaned. Floors shiny, tables spotless, and the store generally looks sanitized. Food is wonderful - best banh mi i ever had, I ordered a KBBQ Beef Banh Mi, it tasted very fresh, the food was prepared in about 2-3 minutes, and it was VERY affordable. Service was also great, workers were nice, greetful, and always had a smile on their faces. I would visit this place everyday if I had the chance, 10/10 recommended!
