Such a cute little space with a great ethical commitment and excellent food! I brought my partner here to grab a quick lunch to go. We each got a banh mi (I got the lemongrass chicken, no mayo, and they got the pork) and a sparkling limeade. The person who took our order was super friendly and the food came out fast. We were both impressed by just how big the sandwiches were and how much protein was on them! And the limeade was incredible - just slightly sparkling with a hint of saltiness.

Pretty good option, I was so glad they have tons of vegan options! This is a great place to eat if you are vegan but have a meat eating friend they have something for everyone. I just got a bahn mi but hope to come back for more. It tasted way better than the pic I took. Service was a little slow but supposedly they make everything from scratch.

Lady working at the window was rude and rushed us from the moment we arrived though there was nobody else there to order. I got the tofu banh mi and my partner got the chicken banh mi. They were both very bland and dry, we have definitely had better elsewhere and for much cheaper. The limeade was good but kinda steep in price. The only thing I would come back for is the salt and pepper fried oyster mushrooms. Could use a sauce because quite frankly everything here was dry but the flavor on the mushrooms was really good and made the visit worth it. There’s only outdoor seating on the side and it’s pretty hard to find parking on the street.

I was in the area for business and I wanted a quick, light lunch. And woah! I had a really nice egg banh mi. That fresh crusty bread, the perfect pate spread and fresh veggies, topped with fried eggs with runny yolk. Absolute perfection, esp with the hot pepper salsa on the side. They have a small but cute patio on the side and service was quick and efficient. If I lived there I'd go daily. Highly recommend.

I rarely feel compelled to leave restaurant reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth mentioning. The food itself was decent. The beef was tender and flavorful, the pickled carrots were great, and overall nothing tasted bad. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When we arrived, there was nobody ahead of us in line. We ordered a bánh mì, a rice noodle plate, and a limeade, then waited over 35 minutes. During that time, multiple customers who ordered after us received their food first. When our order finally came out, our drinks had been forgotten entirely. What made the experience worse was the attitude from the staff. The woman at the front seemed visibly irritated from the moment we arrived, and the employee who handed us our food wasn’t much friendlier. As someone who has worked in food service, I completely understand having a rough day or feeling overwhelmed. That said, I’ve rarely felt so blatantly ignored or unwelcome at a restaurant. As for the food, it was fine but somewhat underwhelming. The rice noodle plate seemed to be missing sauce, which left it feeling a bit dry despite the quality of the beef. The bánh mì had a similar issue—it was decent, but nothing memorable enough to justify the wait. I’d heard great things about this place and seen a lot of hype online, so I left feeling pretty disappointed. While the food was acceptable, the service and wait time made the overall experience feel mediocre. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the wait, and I’d probably recommend trying somewhere else.
