Beacon Nail Bar

I used to live at the Beacon Apartments by the nail salon and was a regular customer! Two months ago, I got a service that I was not happy with and told him I would never go back. But my sister likes the place and took me anyway. Must say, THEY MADE UP! It was so good - my nail tech Tidi was amazing! Great execution of the design and great attention to detail. My pedicurist was amazing too - great massage on the Deluxe package. Highly recommend! I appreciate the manager for offering to fix a past negative experience and make it a better one! Great job guys!

Sally absolutely killed it!!! She took her time and paid attention to every detail. I showed her a model, and the design that Sally did exactly mimic what I showed her. She went ahead and redid nails that SHE Didn’t like without me, even having to say anything. Any adjustment I wanted, she made sure to give me exactly what I Wanted without any issue at all. Made me feel so comfortable to ask for what I wanted without making me feel bad. The service was amazing, she was incredibly attentive, and will definitely be back again! If you want an intricate design, definitely ask for Sally!!!! Update: Every time I come to Beacon nail bar, I always leave so satisfied. Sally never fails to amaze me. She always takes her time and makes sure I get exactly what I want. Not to mention how kind, sweet, friendly and welcoming she and the staff are! Ask for Sally or Michelle!! They both do amazing with the designs!

I started going to beacon since they’ve opened. The service is always professional, clean, and welcoming. Kimmy and Julie are my favorite techs to request. They always take the best care of my nails and pays attention to all the details. Huge thank you to Tiffany at the front. She’s always so kind and helpful and she makes coming in to the salon effortless!

It was okay I like more quiet time when getting my main-pedi done. Ummm they have a full bar, etc but no drink offered. My nail color is good and the lady gave a suggestion for my dry feet.

If I could rate a zero I would. I didn’t have a good experience here. I came in for a gel polish change on my toes, an acrylic soak-off, and a new full set. I was there for about 2.5 hours total, which felt really long for what I was getting done. The gel polish change on my toes was super quick.While that was happening, my acrylics were being soaked off, which took about 30 minutes. After that, it still took almost two more hours to complete a basic acrylic set. The nail tech I had didn’t seem very experienced with acrylics. The application was sloppy. I’ve been getting my nails done non stop consistently for over 10 years, so I know what a clean application should look like, and this is the worst I’ve seen. Acrylic was past my nail beds and on my skin, and the cuticle area wasn’t filled/sealed properly. I kept asking her to reduce certain areas because the acrylic was uneven. She also struggled to get a basic tapered square shape. At one point the receptionist noticed I was frustrated. At first it felt like she was trying to gaslight me and make it seem like everything was fine (kept saying it will be fine once filed) when I explained that the application looked sloppy and not how I’m used to my nails looking. Eventually they had another tech step in to clean up the work. I was told they couldn’t remove the set and redo it, so she had to work with what was already on my nails. She did the best she could, but the foundation of the set just wasn’t done well from the start. I still paid full price (over $100). It would’ve been nice to get some kind of discount or accommodation considering how long it took and the quality of the service. Looking at my nails now, I already know I’ll probably have to get them removed within a week because they’re likely going to lift. After getting home and looking at my toes, the polish isn’t even fully applied on my nail properly. This does not seem like licensed professional work for the price. You all need to do better with training your technicians. I really wanted to give this place a chance, but I won’t be returning. I’m usually the last person to ever leave a review because I give a lot of grace but with the amount of money that’s being spent, basic quality is the bare minimum. Responding to owners reply: The salon was not busy when I came in. My service started immediately when I sat down. There were multiple technicians sitting around multiple times while I was there. Again, the tech I had was not experienced or efficient. There was no intermission until the other tech took over. I understand not wanting to “rush work” but even with taking her time the work was not good. I’m sure if the other technician hadn’t taken over I would’ve been there longer.
