Bellagio Nail Bar (At Alamo Ranch)

I visited Bellagio Nail Bar to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. She came in for her first acrylic set, and I came in to have my long-term acrylics removed. I normally go to Coco nails on Culebra (recommend instead!) but we just left out of Massage Heights next door so this was a convenient stop. I’ve had acrylics removed many times over the years, so I’m familiar with what a basic removal service includes. After I told the technician that I did not want a machine used on my nails, she put the machine away, told me to wash my hands, and said "you're done". My nails were left rough, uneven, and not presentable. I asked if that was really what the $15 removal service included, especially considering I was walking out of a nail salon. At that point, another staff member was asked to help. She took the time to explain the different nail bits, gently buffed my nails, and made them look presentable—which was all I expected from the beginning. My daughter’s acrylic set looked great, and she was happy with her nails. However, based on my experience, I understand why the salon was so empty. Customer service and basic service expectations matter. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this salon. The pictures reflect how they expected me to walk out. Unacceptable for any nail salon.

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of pricing transparency and overall experience at this salon. According to the posted menu, the Charcoal Detox Pedicure is $55 and Shellac Gel is listed as a $20 add-on. Based on that, my pedicure should have totaled $75. Instead, I was charged $85 for shellac and basic white polish on my natural toenails — not a French tip set or specialty design. These charges were not clearly explained beforehand. Even more frustrating, my 4-year-old’s pedicure totaled $70, which is unreasonable. At the beginning of the appointment, I clearly stated regular polish only. That request was not followed, and shellac was done instead without my approval, resulting in a $40 upcharge I did not consent to. On top of the pricing issues, the quality of the service was poor. One of my nails is lifting and sticking up shortly after the appointment, which should not happen with gel or shellac services. Pricing should match what is advertised, and any add-ons should be clearly discussed and approved before services begin. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here, and I left feeling misled. I will not be returning.

Wow! AMAZING! Super clean salon and wonderfully nice staff. They took my horrible short, red paint chipped nails and made classically beautiful nails!!
