I’ve never had food that was worth leaving a review… This food and service is amazing. I’m a foodie and my boyfriend not as much and even he was able to find multiple new things he loved. The service was also amazing very sweet and will give great recommendations. Lastly the mango sticky rice OMGGGG, dreaming about it.
I ordered the lemongrass curry for takeout. While the taste was good, their menu description did not mention that the dish had onions in it and I have an onion allergy. So I spent a lot of time picking through the dish. Also, I suggest they use plastic containers for takeout, not styrofoam, as all the sauce leaked out into the bag and on to the seats of my vehicle. So, not happy about that!
Overall 2.9/10 - This dining spot's aesthetic appeal couldn't compensate for the subpar service and disappointing meal quality, leading to an unsatisfying experience. Atmosphere 6.6/10: While visually appealing with unique decor and various sections, the cleanliness was just passable, and the staff's unwelcoming demeanor detracted from the overall ambiance. Service 3.8/10: The lack of a welcoming vibe and necessity to request basic amenities like water made the service feel inattentive and inadequate. Fresh Rolls 1.1/10: These were poorly prepared with sticky rice paper, which is typically a sign of over-soaking or poor quality wraps, making them difficult to handle and enjoy. Pho 2.2/10: The broth lacked depth, and the low-quality meat was inedible, significantly undermining the authenticity and enjoyment of the dish. Value 1.2/10: The overall experience did not justify the cost, particularly with the poor service and disappointing food quality, leaving a feeling of dissatisfaction and unnecessary tipping.
Wish there was a 0 star option, we come here often and enjoy the food but the service is always slow even when it’s empty, no one checks up on you or is even friendly, they’re always rushing you to order for some reason, takes about 30 min …
This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Charlotte area - period. We come often, and drive all the way from south Charlotte to come here because it’s worth it. The food is always good, and consistent. I love their spring rolls (#1) the most of any Vietnamese restaurant in the area. It’s just a notch up. The pho is great - I really like #24, which is a good combination. The bun combos are all good, and they use good fish sauce. There’s also a good stir fry on the menu with curry and lemon grass . Also, fresh orange juice here!
