Berkeley Deep Sports Massage is a sports massage therapist serving Berkeley, CA, from 2822 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley, CA 94702. The practice's name and customer feedback point to deep, focused bodywork for people looking to address muscle tension, limited movement, and areas affected by activity or everyday strain. It is a local option for Berkeley residents, nearby workers, and visitors who want attention directed toward a particular physical concern. Its listed hours run from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day, offering a broad daily window to visit before work, after work, or on weekends.

Clients describe sessions aimed at specific concerns rather than a one-size-fits-all routine. In reviews, visitors mention neck and shoulder tightness, back concerns, chronic knee limitations, general chronic pain, and wear from years of skateboarding. One client who saw Adam said the practitioner located pressure-sensitive points and that they could move their neck more easily afterward. Another review of Aida described more knee range of motion and a cautious return to jogging after a flare-up. These are individual experiences, not a promise of medical treatment or a guaranteed outcome, but they help explain why people seeking focused sports massage and deep bodywork may consider this Berkeley location.

A deep massage can be physically intense, and the reviewers' comments suggest the value of clear communication about target areas, preferred pressure, and comfort needs. The atmosphere is reflected in a mixed set of first-hand experiences. One first-time visitor called the massage great and said the therapist did not make them uncomfortable, but also raised a concern about feeling safe because of the clinic's setup. Another reviewer praised an older Asian male practitioner while reporting that a session with Aida did not sufficiently focus on their back. Because therapist experiences and personal comfort can differ, prospective clients with a precise issue or concern may wish to discuss it directly when beginning a session.

With a 4.4-star rating from 61 reviews, Berkeley Deep Sports Massage has feedback from a meaningful number of guests while still showing that results can vary by practitioner and need. For a local searcher seeking a sports massage therapist in Berkeley, California, the combination of deep work, attention to activity-related discomfort, and hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM seven days a week makes the business worth considering. The San Pablo Avenue address also gives local searchers a clearly identified Berkeley location for this type of service. It may suit active people, travelers, and anyone seeking focused work for ongoing muscular tightness or mobility concerns. Review accounts are personal and do not replace advice from a qualified health professional for injuries or persistent symptoms.

First and foremost, the massage I received last week was great and at no point in time did the therapist make me feel uncomfortable. That was my first time visiting Berkeley Deep Sports Massage. I want to share that I did not feel safe as a woman at this clinic, due to the way it is set up. I was the only customer in the clinic with the male therapist - there was no person at the front desk or any other customers in the clinic at the time. It's located on a section of San Pablo that does not have a lot of regular foot traffic. Perhaps there's a way for the business to group more clients together that would help female clients feel more at ease

I have chronic knee issues, and after my most recent flare up was unable to run or bend my knee deeply for months. After one session with Aida, I was able to (slowly, cautiously) jog half a mile and had noticeably increased range of motion on the knee. Getting bodywork hurts like the dickens and is really intense (be prepared to speak up if something feels like too much), but it works. Highly recommended.

I didn’t like Aida’s massage. I went to her for a back issue and she massaged everywhere but not my back. She kept saying come once a week and I paid her $10 tip she was keep asking for 20 to 30%. I like Berkeley sports massage and had a great experience with that one old Asian guy but Aida not again.

Flew in from New York for work and had a session booked with Adam. Incredible experience to put it mildly. I can't believe I had to fly 3000 miles to get my neck and shoulders and all general chronic pain alleviated. He found exactly where my pressure pain points were and i can now move my neck and arms more freely. This is a gold standard of therapy and I'm really grateful not to have this pain hovering over me while I'm here. Adam is a very calm and soft spoken healer and you should tip him extra. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you again.

Definitely the massage I needed! Suffered a-lot of damage from decades of skateboarding so Aida’s techniques made the whole experience wonderful and I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended for those with severe muscle and joint pain.
