Sign in to reviewThis afternoon I had an appointment at BeYou Nail Bar, a place I’ve been loyal to for almost three years. Even when things haven’t gone perfectly in the past, my nails still turned out great about 90% of the time. So I was genuinely taken aback by today’s experience or at least part of it. First, let me give credit where it’s due: Louis, you killed it as always. Your dedication, your artistry, and your commitment to giving the best possible service never go unnoticed. Even though the cat-eye design wasn’t possible this time, my nails still look amazing because of your skill and professionalism. Thank you for consistently showing pride in your work. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my pedicure experience. I came in with a clear vision and even showed the design the same one Louis understood immediately but the nail tech doing my pedicure could not execute it. After five attempts, I was almost sent out the door with something that looked like a tic‑tac‑toe board. At that point, I had to advocate for myself and say, “No, this is not what I asked for,” and request that it be removed and replaced with a simple cat-eye. What made it worse was the lack of basic care. He didn’t even clean around the toes properly you can still see black and dark blue around the nail beds. That alone shows a lack of attention and professionalism. What frustrated me most wasn’t just the inability to do the design it was the lack of honesty. Instead of admitting he didn’t know how to do it, he was willing to let me leave with a kindergarten-level design and still pay full price for a service that wasn’t delivered. Even after the correction, I left very dissatisfied and disappointed with the pedicure overall. And yes, like I always do, I still paid and tipped generously. But I will not be returning. I’m nobody’s fool, and I refuse to be taken advantage of. To Louis, thank you for your outstanding work, your consistency, and your genuine customer care. You are the reason I stayed as long as I did. Giving it 4 only because of Louis vs a 3 star!
I’ve been going to this salon for nearly three years, I don’t know if they have new management or owners but the service I received today was atrocious. I went in after not going for about 5 months for a dip powder/pedi, I was told it was a 25 min wait. I ended up waiting about 50 minutes. The pedicure was rushed considering I chose a 50$ service. When it came time to do the nails, I’ve always request a medium size, but the lady doing my nails clipped where I asked for the length to be claiming it was long and continued chopping the nail messily a lot shorter than asked. She then proceeded to rush the filing and cut me on multiple fingers while filing down the length to shorter nails that I never get done. When I told her they were small so it can be fixed, she said “no that’s long” I’ll post a picture of said “long nails” below. She then proceeded to rush the entire nail service. I voiced pain and told her it was rough multiple times and she kept apologizing then continuing to rush. After she finished doing my nails I paid and saw that I had a ton or air bubbles all over a few of my nails here and there from her rushed work. I’m not returning to this salon after this I’m extremely disappointed considering how well I had my nails done by them previously. I saw almost no familiar faces and here’s also a picture of my medium sized nails from before. Honestly probably my fault for letting her finish doing my nails I should have walked away long before she continued. The first three are of the air bubbles and length and the fourth is what I used to get.
I’ll be honest, I’m a guy who’s been to plenty of nail salons, so I know a good manicure when I get one. And this was hands down the best experience I’ve had. ShoSho absolutely crushed it. Super detailed, took her time, and the gel came out flawless. Clean, sharp, and exactly what I was looking for. You can tell she really cares about her work. Also, shoutout to Be You for the vibe: welcoming, professional, and just a solid place all around. Fellas, if you’ve ever thought about getting your nails done but felt unsure… don’t overthink it. Take care of yourself. You’ll walk out feeling put together and confident. I’ll definitely be back.
I just moved to the area and have struggled to find a quality nail salon that doesn't ask me to put out a 2nd mortgage on my house. This is the first place I have returned to for a fill since I moved and am even happier with my 2nd set! Definitely have a repeat customer from me. Do recommend appointments as it seems they get busy in waves, but they do work with walkins. Thank you!!
$128…. I WISH I didn’t have a flight to catch so I could have done a soak off. My fault for not saying anything. But the pictures speak for themselves. No need to explain. And before they try to say that its my finger nails that are wide.. the French tip photo is a photo of my nails with an actually decent set.
