Bobadochi - Portland - NE Alberta is a donut shop at 2017 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 97211, serving mochi donuts alongside bubble tea and Korean-style corn dogs. For people exploring Alberta Street, it is an easy place to step into when a sweet treat catches your eye. The shop’s mochi donuts are the clearest draw in the available customer feedback: visitors describe them as flavorful, with a distinctive chewy mochi texture that stands apart from a conventional donut. If you are curious about mochi donuts or already enjoy their springy bite, Bobadochi offers a neighborhood stop to try one in Portland, Oregon.

The flavors can suit customers who like their desserts boldly sweet. One visitor praised the sweet-and-salty combination, while another called the pastries delicious and noted the friendly staff. Ube butter mochi is one specific option mentioned by a customer, who especially enjoyed the butter mochi texture. Reviews also describe the donuts as a pleasant surprise for someone who had tried mochi donuts only occasionally. These are personal impressions rather than a promise that every flavor will suit every palate, but they give a useful sense of what regular and first-time visitors may find: an expressive, chewy pastry with plenty of sweetness.

Bobadochi also offers bubble tea and K-dogs, giving groups more than one kind of snack to consider. Customer experiences with the bubble tea are mixed: one review was interested in trying it, while another found the classic pearl milk tea disappointing and described the topping as dense brown-sugar jelly rather than the boba they expected. If bubble tea is your main reason for visiting, that difference in feedback may be worth keeping in mind. The mochi donuts, by contrast, receive positive comments across the supplied reviews. Choosing a donut alongside a drink or savory snack can make the visit work for different cravings, though the reviews do not establish specific menu combinations or availability.

Located on NE Alberta Street, this shop is suited to a casual stop while shopping or walking through the neighborhood, as well as a dessert break after a meal. The reviews mention both stopping in on a whim and visiting while shopping on Alberta, so it may appeal to passersby, curious first-timers, and anyone looking for a sweet pastry to share or enjoy on their own. Bobadochi has a 4.2 rating from 47 reviews. It is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making it straightforward to plan a daytime visit or an early-evening treat in Northeast Portland.

We walked by here the other day and decided to stop in to check it out. We only got the Ube butter mochi donut as we were full from our meal earlier. The ube butter mochi was decent with the butter mochi part being the part I enjoyed most. They also have some boba and k-dogs that I am curious to try next time.

I was shopping on Alberta, spotted this place, and went in on whim. I’ve had mochi donuts a few times before, but quite infrequently, so this was still a novelty to me. Without having any expectations, these donuts blew whatever preconceived notion I had of mochi donuts completely out of the water. If moist, gooey and scrumptious is your thing, I highly recommend this spot. The brown butter salted caramel was soooooo good, perfect combo of salty n sweet. I also tried the strawberry glazed and the ube donut with ube chocolate frosting and coconut flakes. Three totally different experiences, all super delicious and satisfying. Can’t wait to come back to try out their dogs!

Edit: I visited again and tried another kind of bubble tea, which was horrible. The mochi donuts were great again but the bubble tea (ordered the classic pearl milk tea) tasted like it came from a can, and the boba was not boba. It was a very dense brown sugar jelly, and was not good at all. I would not recommend wasting money on the bubble tea and won't be ordering it again. The mochi donuts were delicious, and the service was quick, however I ordered a bubble tea (lychee rose green tea) and it was really bitter. The green tea flavor was way way way too strong and overpowered the lychee flavor. I saw another review saying the tea wasn't strong enough, maybe they were trying to compensate? I'll definitely be coming back for donuts, not so sure about the tea though.
