Boiling Point is a hot pot restaurant in Fremont, CA, located at 46807 Warm Springs Blvd in the Warm Springs area. For diners searching for hot pot in Fremont or a casual Asian restaurant near Warm Springs, Boiling Point offers a convenient sit-down option with steady daily hours from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The menu appeal comes from flavorful soups and comfort-minded sides. Reviewers specifically call out the stinky tofu, Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup, scallion bread, sliced pork, potatoes, fish balls, and the small sauce cans served on the side. The curry broth is described as full-flavored with a subtle sea-salt foam, while some guests note that certain broths can lean a little sweet. That range makes Boiling Point a good fit for people who already enjoy Taiwanese hot pot as well as newcomers who want a guided, approachable first bowl.

The dining experience is simple and modern: guests may order by scanning a QR code, food can arrive quickly, and the room has been described as calm and relaxing, with soft background music when it is not too crowded. This makes the restaurant especially useful for a low-key dinner after work, a meal after a hike, a casual lunch with friends, or a family outing where everyone wants their own soup base. The individual-pot setup also helps groups with different spice levels or ingredient preferences.

As with many popular local restaurants, timing can shape the visit. Boiling Point holds a 4-star rating from 745 reviews, and feedback points to both dependable food and occasional service slowdowns, including waits at lunch or slower water refills. Guests who prefer a quieter meal may want to come outside the busiest windows. The overall impression is practical and balanced: a neighborhood hot pot spot with satisfying flavors, an easy ordering flow, and a relaxed room that works best when the pace is unhurried.

I went there with my Taiwanese friend for dinner after a hike. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and ordering food was easy by scanning a QR code. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background. Our food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The scallion bread was especially good, not too salty and the stir-fried cabbage was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous too. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family. It’s just a few miles from Highway 101 and easy to find using Google Maps.

The waitress was quick to seat us, but slow to take our order and even slower to refill our water. They used smaller paper cups for water, which I found strange. Giving the waitress the benefit of the doubt, I can understand that it might be difficult to tell whether a cup is empty. However, it would be best not to assume that everyone has enough water. I have been to similar places, like Tasty Pot, and the customer experience can vary quite a bit. The prices here are on the higher side, but the portions are slightly larger. I ordered the Thai tomato soup, which was tasty but definitely on the sweeter side; tom yum soup is not supposed to be sweet. It seems they added some sugar or sweetener to the soup base. We also ordered the House Special soup base (House special (stinky stinky pot in Chinese) The texture of the cabbage in the soup was enjoyable, but if you're unsure about this dish, you might want to choose something else, as the soup has a strong smell of stinky tofu and is definitely an acquired taste. Overall, the restaurant was decent. The lighting was dim, and the place was neat, but the tables were quite close together, making it easy to overhear other people's conversations.

I was a guest with my god daughter and her parents. Long wait on a weekday lunch (40 minutes). Inattentive young staff. I feel like they're missing a manager / owner presence. Lackluster food and if you're selling point is the experience then the experience you must have going for yourself, which they don't really. If you want hot pot and better service or experience explore elsewhere first

Taiwanese individual hot pot place that deserves more exposure! The stinky tofu is really good! The broth was a bit on the sweet side though…… Btw love the little sauce cans on the side!

I got the Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup and it was delicious! It had a very flavorful curry broth and a subtle sea salt foam on top. The sliced pork was clumped together, but was overall very tender and soaked up the broth well. The sliced potatoes and the fish balls were my favorite part! FYI: It came with vermicelli noodles already, so I recommend getting the rice as your free side. My cousin got the Korean Bean Paste Soup "medium" and it was really spicy for her, so be careful when you're ordering your spice level! This is located in the Osaka Marketplace plaza and it was very empty on a Friday night at 7:00 PM. A pretty small location compared to others that I have been to, but overall very clean interior. The staff are a little awkward, but they get the job done. I appreciate that they offered to give us extra soup broth mid-way! Very considerate.
