A solid 4.5 star experience! This restaurant serves very authentic Thai food, with a special focus on bold Southern Thai flavors. Everything was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The space is small and casual, with more of a cafeteria-style atmosphere, and there is no restroom available. However, the service was friendly and our food came out quickly. Overall, it’s a great spot for authentic, affordable Thai food, and I would definitely return.
This place was honestly so good. Like one of those spots where you leave already talking about coming back. Right when we sat down, our waiter Jeep made everything super easy. He was really friendly and just had a great vibe. Not pushy at all, just helpful and knew exactly what to recommend. You can tell he actually cares about making sure you enjoy the meal, which made a big difference. Food-wise, everything hit. The crab balls were such a good start, super flavorful and crispy without being heavy. The green curry was probably my favorite. It had that perfect balance of spice and richness without being overwhelming. And the braised beef in curry was unreal, super tender and packed with flavor. Overall it just felt like one of those meals where everything comes together. Good food, great service, and just a really enjoyable experience. Definitely coming back for sure.
If you only get one thing. Get the wings. The wings alone gives this place 5 stars. It has a cute little market section to the restaurant/store but mostly made up of tables. The staff were friendly. We also got the padseeew that was a touch too saucy for my liking but everyone’s got their own preference for that. Their specials are definitely the way to go.
Wonderful Thai cuisine and friendly, kind people. I needed to bring several dishes quite a ways in my car and they were so helpful packing it up for me. The food is delicious- gyozos, pork Penang curry were real standouts. Im looking forward to trying more of their offerings.
So glad I finally got to try Boonnoon! There are menu items that I've never seen anywhere else -- what a unique experience! The prices are very reasonable and the flavors are great. I appreciated that none of the items we got were sweet, and each had very distinct flavor profiles. I loved the basil eggplant with shrimp -- wonderful savory flavor and textures. We got the hor mok, a fish custard, which had a slight coconut flavor and a nice texture. The pork and crab nuggets had a nice crispy exterior and were packed with meat. The mok nor mai (bamboo pork soup) was pungent but quite tasty and full of tasty ingredients. There's a lot on the menu that I still want to try, but I don't think you can go wrong here! Looking forward to my next visit.
