Comfort and care come up repeatedly in clients’ accounts. One reviewer with a very tender scalp said the braiding process did not hurt, and another appreciated leaving without the soreness they had experienced at other salons. Reviews also describe stylists as kind, nice, and professional, and several clients say they felt well cared for rather than rushed through an appointment. These are individual experiences, not a guarantee that every service will feel the same, but they may matter if you are sensitive about scalp tension or want to discuss comfort before a style begins. A first-time salon visitor also called the experience their best salon choice, suggesting that the welcoming service can make a difference for newcomers.

Braided looks mentioned by customers include extra-full, mid-back small boho braids with wet-and-wavy hair, as well as hybrid braids. One client praised the hair used for their boho style, noting that it bounced back after water and brushing and shed very little. Another reviewer liked their overall result but would have preferred less weave and more braids for a smaller head, a helpful reminder that the balance of added hair and braid coverage is personal. If you have a specific vision, head size, or preference for fullness and versatility, explain it with your stylist before getting started. Clear discussion can help align expectations around the look and feel you want.

Bow Salon - Boston Braiders may suit people seeking braids in Boston, including clients who value a gentle approach, professional interaction, or a style they can enjoy for several weeks; one reviewer said their braids were still going strong after about five weeks. Marie did my braids. It was amazing! I never felt so beautiful. I paid $530 for extra full mid back small boho braids with wet and wavy hair. The hair they used was from ywigs, a brand I really love. The hair bounces back after spraying water and brushing. Shedding was very minimal, which make the fullness last the entire time. Sometimes I brush and blow dry to style it full to look like the kinky straight hair. Once I wet it and brush it, it’s back to looking all new. Then I add some curl hold. Of course the hair started looking older at the roots after a few weeks but the braids itself was beautiful still. This is my new go to style. Absolutely worth every penny in my opinion.

Got this hair done at bow salon. The service was amazing, I have a very tender scalp and this didn’t hurt at all! And you’d think it won’t last, I’ve had it for about 5 weeks now and I can’t wait to get my hair down there again!❤️

I went in last week to get the Zoe Kravtiz hybrid braids. I had a good overall experience, and the stylist was nice and professional. However, I would have preferred slightly less weave (I have a smaller head) and more braids, as it would make the style more versatile and better cover the tracks when putting the hair up or half-up. Finally the human hair included with service could be better quality, especially for the price point. Because of this, I will likely not keep the hair in for long which is disappointing.Update: I had someone else look at my hair and the braids just were not done very well. You can see where hair was added. Overall I think they were rushing because of the next appointments and trying to save money with how much hair they used/quality of hair.

This is one of those salons where you immediately feel like they actually care about your hair not just getting you in and out. I’ve gone to so many places where my scalp felt sore for days after, but here I leave comfortable and my …
