Reviews highlight the Szechuan chicken and BBQ pork buns as especially enjoyable. Diners praise the freshness of the fillings and the balance between the meat and accompanying ingredients, rather than relying on extra seasoning to make the flavors stand out. One guest who had been searching for gua bao was glad to find it here, while others appreciated the full-bodied flavor and generous portions. Noodles are also mentioned by customers; one reviewer enjoyed them with hot sauce and sweet chili on the side. These comments offer a useful picture of what guests have tried, without suggesting that every dish or preparation is the same.
The experience is described as casual and connected to a food-cart setting, with kind staff serving guests from the carts. One reviewer noted that the area by the cart felt dark and somewhat out of the way, so visitors may want to keep that setting in mind when planning a trip. That same guest still felt the food was worth seeking out. Portions have been described as substantial, and one diner said a noodle order lasted for several meals at home. The atmosphere may suit people who enjoy informal dining and flavorful food more than a polished, formal restaurant setting.

You don't know good food until you have eaten here ! Phil and his team do an absolutely amazing job creating and preparing the freshest food I have ever eaten. 😋 …
I have to admit I am a bit of a food snob. When I taste a cuisine new to me I am looking for a great experience, anything less and I don't go back. Well, I have been back 6 times or so now! Their flavors are very balanced and full bodied. I do not need any other seasonings at all. The people are friendly and attentive. Regarding portion size, you can take your biggest eater and they will be quite satiated!
The buns were delicious! I think the noodles benefited from some extra sides of hot sauce and sweet chili but it lasted me and my wife 3 days. Epic portion, and the folks running the carts were kind. Definitely felt out of the way and dark by the cart. I would say it's still worth making the trip to try the buns!
I have been constantly disappointed by the supposedly glorious food carts in this city so I was wary to try another, but it's hard to find gua bao around! I'm so glad I did! We got the Szechuan chicken and the bbq pork and they were both so delicious. Super fresh and well filled, great balance of meat and other fillings. And the salad they come with is wonderful! Very happy with the price as well, as carts are so often totally overpriced. Will definitely be back.
We tried the Szechuan chicken and BBQ pork, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, with a great balance of meat and other fillings. The portions were generous and satisfying, making for a fantastic meal overall.
