Buckley Main Exchange is an Army & navy surplus shop and exchange serving customers at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. Located at 365 N Telluride St, next to the commissary, it offers a practical place to shop for uniform items and everyday goods in one visit. Customers describe it as a well-sized exchange for a smaller installation: broad enough to cover many routine needs without feeling overwhelming. Its 4.4-star rating across 726 reviews reflects a range of experiences, so shoppers may find it useful to check current availability and prices in person.
Uniform essentials are a prominent reason people visit. One customer said the exchange had all the uniform items they needed, while others appreciate being able to pick up home goods alongside military-related purchases. Reviews also mention appliances available through a Home Depot partnership with the exchange. That option may be helpful for shoppers comparing ways to purchase larger household items, though product selection and terms can vary. The convenient location beside the commissary makes it easier to combine errands rather than make separate trips.
The store is suited to service members and families looking for uniforms, household basics, and general merchandise close to the installation. Reviewers frequently describe the staff as friendly, and one customer specifically praised manager Ed Williams for compassionate, intelligent leadership. Some shoppers also mention attractive prices and purchases without sales tax at the exchange; because prices and tax treatment can depend on the item and transaction, it is sensible to confirm details at checkout. Another review reports concern about an item priced above its market comparison, a reminder to compare prices when value is a priority.
Food options inside the installation are more limited and change over time. A review notes that Subway was the only chain restaurant inside the exchange at the time of writing, while visiting food trucks were described as a welcome but irregular option. The exchange is therefore best approached as a convenient shopping stop, not as a destination with a guaranteed restaurant selection. Customers interested in food should check what is currently available, and those making a broader grocery run can take advantage of the nearby commissary.
Buckley Main Exchange is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., according to the listed hours. For shoppers at Buckley Space Force Base, its combination of uniform merchandise, home goods, appliance purchasing options, and adjacent commissary access makes it a practical local resource. Since individual experiences with price, selection, and food availability differ, a visit is a straightforward way to confirm what is on offer for your needs that day.

Very nice base exchange. It has everything you may need. It’s not too big, not too small. I was especially impressed with one of the managers Ed Williams. Very compassionate and intelligent leader. It was a pleasure to be served by him and I’m sure that organization loves having him on the team. It’s nice that AAFES has consolidated so many services into one area. The gas station, food court, car repair shop, and even car wash are all in one location. I’ve used most of their services and have been impressed with all the departments. They always seem to have some great clearance items as well. Buckley AFB is well served. And if you can’t find it in the store, they have an excellent online store that will ship to your house or the store.
Buckley Is great. The exchange has seen a lot of loss in business over the last few years. Dunkins no longer there. The only chain restaurant inside is Subway. The food trucks that come are the best part but they are hit and miss and don't come on a regular schedule! Love the sushi in the commissary!
Always friendly staff and great prices with no sales tax at the exchange. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the new partnership with Home depot is alive and well. Appliances you can get from Home Depot directly through the exchange also with that sales tax.
A good-sized exchange for a small installation. They have all the uniform items I needed, plus lots of stuff for home. They’re located right next to the commissary which is definitely convenient.
This is a single item that I noticed was on sale for DOUBLE of the market price, I’m not going to add here one by one however, it’s a shame and frustrating. Keep rip service members and their families off Post Exchange, thank you !
