Bui Natural Tofu is a tofu shop and casual deli counter at 520 NE 76th Ave in Portland, Oregon. Part tofu maker and part takeout stop, it gives local residents a place to pick up tofu and ready-to-eat items without a formal dining-room experience. Customers describe the shop as small and relaxed, with an appealing mix of fresh rolls, tofu dishes, snacks, and sweets. Its 4.8-star rating across 639 reviews reflects a strong local following, while individual favorites offer a useful guide for a first visit.

Fresh rolls are among the most frequently praised choices. Customers mention salad rolls and fresh rolls served with peanut sauce, with one reviewer returning after trying the rolls elsewhere and finding the versions bought directly from the shop especially good. Tofu sticks are another standout, and the small fried tofu squares are a practical pick to enjoy as a snack or keep on hand for meals. Customers also like adding tofu to soups and salads, or eating it straight from the fridge for a quick source of protein. These options make Bui Natural Tofu a natural stop for tofu fans and anyone looking for simple, ready-to-eat food.

The counter offers more than tofu and rolls. Reviews call out tapioca pudding, sesame balls, chicken sticky rice, and meat tofu, so visitors can put together an assortment or choose a sweet or savory bite to go. Peanut sauce is popular enough that one customer went back inside to buy more. Rather than presenting a large restaurant menu, the shop’s appeal is its compact selection of prepared foods and tofu products. Visitors describe the food as affordable, and one reviewer particularly recommends the small fried tofu squares as an easy ingredient to use in different dishes.

Bui Natural Tofu may suit a quick lunch, a takeout stop, or a grocery-style visit to pick up tofu and snacks for later. The small counter and takeout-focused setup are worth keeping in mind if you are planning to sit down for a meal. Customers also mention pairing items from the shop with a banh mi from across the street, though you can simply choose a few things to make a meal of your own. The address is 520 NE 76th Ave, Portland, OR 97213. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are exploring Portland tofu shops, the well-reviewed rolls, tofu sticks, and fried tofu are good places to start.

Great tofu, I will be back! I went back. New Seasons sells their salad rolls, but theyre a little dried out. I decided to try the salad rolls from the source and they were amazing. Also got a tapioca pudding and it was also amazing, perfectly balanced. Can't wait to finish my tofu so I can go back and get more pudding!

100/10. Need I say more? I will though..Visited this hidden gem about 2 months ago and I’m still talking about it. Amazing tofu sticks, peanut sauce, fresh rolls. I think the best I’ve ever had. So good I went back inside to buy more sauce + try another dish (take out only) It’s authentic, incredibly affordable, quick + the staff are very sweet. There’s a small parking lot too. Don’t walk, run

Small, casual deli counter and tofu manufacturer. Most affordable meal in the city! I love coming by and picking up some fresh spring rolls. Highly recommend their small fried tofu squares. Great to keep on hand and add to soups, salads, or just right out of the fridge for a little protein snack!

4/21/25 Im changing this review because I have told you guys twice that your phones are not working. I have to drive 45mins to get to U just so I can make a order for another day. This is ridiculous. Fix ur phones! 6 million people will see this review. You have a nice shop and good food but not good service. Fix your phones.

This is a local gem. Dirt cheap and delicious. I recommend the meat tofu, sesame balls and chicken sticky rice. Put together an assortment of things as a meal, or just buy something to pair with a bahn mi from the place across the street. You can't go wrong. Just be aware that it's a small, counter-service sort of place with no seating and a fast moving line. Try to order quickly not to hold it up, which can be challenging if the cuisine is unfamiliar to you. But whatever you pick will probably be delicious, so it will be fine.
