Bún Mắm Cần Thơ is a Vietnamese restaurant in Houston, TX, tucked along the busy stretch of Bellaire Boulevard at 10800 Bellaire Blvd. With a 4.4 rating across 269 reviews, this mom-and-pop style spot has earned a steady following among locals who come looking for honest, home-style Vietnamese cooking served in generous portions.

The kitchen leans into specialties that are hard to find done well. Regulars rave about the bún mắm, which many say tastes authentic, much like the version you would find back in Vietnam. The bún chả Hà Nội is another standout, served with plenty of fresh veggies and a side of ground pepper and garlic that brings a welcome kick of heat. You will also find vermicelli with deep-fried fish fillet in the Hà Nội style, crab egg rolls, and canh bún. For something sweet, the rotating row of chè and Vietnamese desserts is worth saving room for, though popular dishes tend to sell out fast, so coming early is a smart move.

The atmosphere is unpretentious and family-run, the kind of place where the food and the friendly, welcoming staff do the talking. Several guests have noted the warm service that made their meal feel comfortable. It is a casual seting that works well for families, friends gathering over a hearty bowl, or anyone craving regional Vietnamese flavors that are not always easy to track down in Houston.

Bún Mắm Cần Thơ is open every day of the week, from 9:30 in the morning until 9:30 at night, making it an easy choice whether you are after a late breakfast, a miday bún mắm, or a relaxed dinner. If you are exploring Vietnamese dining along Bellaire Boulevard and want bold, traditional dishes with big portions and a personal touch, this is a spot worth puting on your list. Arive early for the best selection of signature dishes and deserts, and you will likely understand why so many diners keep coming back.

We had bun cha Ha Noi and Canh Bun. Food portion and taste were perfect. Plenty of veggies and the side of ground pepper/garlic was spicy but I enjoy the hot kick! They also had a row of desserts, so maybe we’ll be back to try that next time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Xoi Che Houston is a must try spot! My family and I ordered 2 Vermicelli with deep fried fish fillet- Ha Noi Style, Crab Egg Rolls and some sweet Vietnamese desserts. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The portion size is huge for me. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made our whole dine-in experience even better. Highly recommend!!!!!

Mom and pop style. Food is good. Quantity not much. Expect from a medium to a slow service. They need to hire more people to clean the place. They need to hire someone to arrange the place properly.

Came in around 8am. Had the Bún Mam. Food was pretty decent. Service was lacking with it being so early. I’ll give them another chance down the road
