C Mart Quincy is a Chinese supermarket at 28 Hayward St in Quincy, MA, serving shoppers looking for a wide range of Chinese and other Asian grocery items. Customers describe an assortment that includes fresh produce, live seafood, meat, and dried ingredients, along with products they say can be difficult to find at other nearby stores. Whether you are stocking up for everyday meals or searching for a particular pantry ingredient, this market offers a place to browse many kinds of groceries under one roof.

The selection is one of the store’s most frequently noted strengths. Reviewers mention fresh produce, seafood displayed live, meat, and dried goods, as well as a broad assortment of packaged foods. Some products may be unfamiliar, and shoppers note that certain packaging does not include English descriptions. If you are exploring new ingredients, allow time to read labels, check items carefully, and ask for help when needed. The market’s range may be especially useful for cooks preparing Chinese or other Asian dishes, and for households that prefer to shop for specialty ingredients alongside regular groceries.

The shopping environment is practical and busy rather than spacious. Customers describe narrow aisles and a crowded parking lot, so visiting with a little extra time may make it easier to move through the store and locate what you need. One reviewer describes the market as clean, while another notes that parts of the store can have the characteristic aromas of a wet market, particularly around fresh-food areas. These details offer a realistic sense of the experience: a substantial grocery selection in a compact, active setting.

C Mart Quincy is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making it possible to shop throughout the week. Customer feedback is mixed, with some long-time shoppers appreciating the selection and others raising concerns about service, product quality, or pricing clarity. It can be helpful to check prices and receipts and inspect fresh or packaged items before purchase. For shoppers in Quincy seeking Chinese groceries, fresh ingredients, seafood, meat, and hard-to-find dried goods, C Mart Quincy is a local option to consider at 28 Hayward St.

Been to this market for regular grocery shopping for many years now and didn't have many problems until today. The cashier didn't want to take my mom's $100 bill. They didn't check it with a pen or anything so my mom was super confused why they didn't want to take it and kept asking. The cashier ended up walking around with the bill, showed like three other cashiers, and eventually took it to man who was working near the seafood tanks and then her bill FINALLY got accepted? Like was the bill too old/dirty that you guys didn't want it or...? Why did it take the whole cashier line staff??

Worst Asian grocery in the area. I will never go back there bc I tried to complain about one tofu package that was bad and obviously gone rancid before the expiration date. They refused to offer me an exchange and accused me God knows what. It was impossible to get an English speaking person to help me. It wasn't worth it so I just left and I don't miss the gagging stench, the overcrowded aisles, the long lines or rude, angry people working there. The 99 and Hmart are so much cleaner and offer a more stress-free environment.

You need to remove your weekend sale signage when the sale is not in effect and clearly put the proper current pricing on the items for all the other days the sales are not in effect. We put our trust in your pricing accuracy and should not have the need to double check our receipts every time we shop here. I have on multiple occasions found out that I overpaid for some items because the sale price is still on but not in effect. Perhaps I should bring this to the attention of the Office of Consumer Affairs and have them review your business ethics.

Clean and lots of oriental foods. Hard to know what most stuff is because many have no English language on the packaging. Crowded parking lot. Narrow isles. Decent pricing.

This is by far the most Chinese oriental supermarket I have been to in North America in a great way. Tons of assortment of fresh produce, live seafood, meat and dried ingredients. Lots of stuffs I could not find elsewhere but saw here. Yes the aisle is narrow, some part smells like wet market (since they do have that section), you need to unspect the expiry date, and have translator app at the ready as some items have no English translation. But the price is great and if you have been itching to look for some authentic Chinese ingredients, I bet they could deliver. Will come back!
