The selection is decent and prices are ok but the smell when you walk in is really off-putting. I've been twice now hoping it was just a bad day but it was the same both times. Hard to want to buy fresh produce when the store smells like that. They need to address it because the store has potential otherwise.

Updated review 04/17/2026: I used to leave best review for this market, today I was very happy with all staffs from the security guys and the one who helped me bag all stuffs , people called him as Uncle Nam (5th Uncle), in my mind I told myself I love this market because of there staff, staffs still very nice and dedicated to their work, I always go to this market since they open regardless there is Hoa Binh Market next my house. However, an incident happened today when I bought beer, they put beers 333 on sales from $9.99 to $7.99, I bought a box of 4 case. They did not update the new price for promotion so they charge me different price at $36.99 + 1.20 CRV which I did not notice. I paid and checked out. Only after driving out the parking lot, while waiting for red light I looked back the receipt and found out the price was wrong so I came back to let them know. I completely understand mistake happens sometimes, I did not complaint or anything, just very open to let them know but the lady manager of the store ( young one, speaks chinese and vietnamese ) came with annoying face and attitude like someone trying cheating her, I spoke vietnamese to her to ensure other guests not understand the story to protect their fame but she looked at me with straight face asked "only different $5.03, wanna buy something or take another beer pack?" No apologies or even explaination or sorry, it like she did favor to me,done. I got another beer which is easier for all. I remembered when the store just opened , I met this manager and she was the one who helped me at cashier, she was very nice but now it looks like they have enough customers, she turned to be snobbish. The way she talked to the senior cashier one who was helping me was not nice at all either. The market items carrying less stuffs and price as same as Hoa Binh market, GW or 168, no more special offer or anything more better than others markets like before. It used to very cheap and many special items but now it cut down less. I still came to support because of nice staffs but now on I will not. I still have another choices. ********************** Used to be: Best Asian market in LA are I have ever been. They carry so many many items that you can not find in any other Asian Market like 99 ranch or 168, if you are Chinese or Vietnamese this is heaven, they have everything that you can find in almost area, in herb area they miss few type of herbs but it is not major. I was very happy with the shopping today, they gave you gift like 10lbs of rice or today they gave me 2 pack of bird nest drink, they also give you free plastic bag, no need to pay 10cent like other market. The seafood and meat area are very clean and fresh, barely find anywhere nearby that have love oyster in water like here with that price. I found dried male papaya flower here, it is very rare product to find, I got it right away. I have been searching for it and even got the order to ship from Viet Nam to me, now I can get it here. I definitely always go here for my fresh food if they keep maintaining this good quality and service.
