If you are visiting with a group, ordering with sharing in mind can make it easier to enjoy the sandwich together. The setting is casual rather than formal, so it suits a quick stop as well as a relaxed meal indoors.

A casual “order at the counter” deli. The shop is amazing … a huge jar of capers for something like $15 lol. The Muffaletta is just as good as you’ve heard and also just as large as a whole will definitely feed 4 people unless two are big them and then it would feed 2 big men. This is a must-see in NOLA. Order a Muffaletta and take it to a counter in the back or take it with you and eat it outside while listening to some buskers.

Iconic French Quarter Muffuletta place with friendly staff and an eclectic grocery store experience. $16 for a half (which is still enough for 2 people in most cases) and $30 for a whole sandwich cut in fourths. A good amount of seating inside. Lots of interesting and unique grocery items. I’ve been here numerous times through the years and love the experience. Nice that they accept tap to pay credit card. Highly recommend! 😊

Everyone comes for the famous muffalotta sandwich. It’s huge and can serve 4 adults. Tastes great with the layers of cheese, meat and olive salad. I was a little disappointed because they make them up in advance and the top bread was covered with olive juice/oil. I had to blot it off with a napkin.

While here in New Orleans for a conference some colleagues wanted to go by this place to have a muffuletta. I’m from here but never had one from this location. They said it was supposed to be the best. So we went, it was a total …
