First time checking out the Charm Nails Bar... and I've found my spot! After reading reviews I had to see for myself and I'm so glad I came. Kevin took his time on my nails it was so relaxing. Wonderful vibes from the atmosphere all together. Also did my usual full face wax which they had great price on! The young girl did amazing I wish I had got her name was super sweet girl and she DIDN'T make me feel gross as many other shops have in the past which is also a plus because clearly I know why I request a full face wax. Lol Hands down my new favorite nail salon I can't wait to do pedicure next pay day I'm so excited to go back!
I have recently started coming to Charm Nails because of the fact that they offer builder gel overlays & I favor the look over acrylic overlays. for about 2 months now, I come faithfully- every two weeks to do a builder gel set/fill & a #6 pedicure with acrylic on my big toes. These services run me about $160-170 to have completed, which I have no problem paying- if the work was consistently quality work. Today was my final straw & I will not be coming back here again- nor do I encourage anyone who may be reading to waste their time or money. I came in, after setting a 930a appointment for this morning & was told no one was in yet that could do my builder gel fill- so they started me at pedi which is fine by me. I advised I had wanted to soak off the acrylic overlay I had present on my toes and do a new overlay completely as i’ve filled it a few times already. I advised this at the time of reserving my appointment, upon arrival and at the start of my service as the man who was servicing me (not wearing a name tag) was not doing as I had asked. The pedicure carried on without my soak off or even a proper fill of the already existing acrylic- he just painted right over it. Which raises my next concern, Shellac nail polish is an additional charge when requested which again- is 100% fine. The lack of care during the painting of my toes was absolutely unacceptable, after every coat & placing the lamp over my foot to dry- it was bumped against the inside of the lamp causing inconsistencies in the white paint I requested to be used. I asked for this to be fixed and was ignored despite my request. My nails were done by Alex, who was very polite- but unfortunately was not able to deliver on the request I made for my nails. After asking him a few times to make slight adjustments to make them as similar as possible & not able to get it right I just took the L on what I was asking for all together. I feel as though the work speaks for itself so I will just attach the photos for reference to this review. At the register, I was met by a Nini- who asked to see my nails before ringing me up. She looked at them, asked “do you like them?”- not sounding as though she liked them herself or was unsure of what she was looking at. I then explained to Nini my concerns with lack of understanding, the sloppiness and complete disregard for my request. She apologized, then proceeded to ring me up for my $130.00 tab as she confirmed that the other pedicure services I requested were not rendered. She did offer to fix them for me, but I am on my way out of town & did not have any further time for them- hence why I booked an appointment at the start of their business day. DO NOT and I urge with complete honesty, waste your hard earned money on services here. Came here as a “relaxing treat” and walked out more stressed out than I was when I arrived. I’d really give 0 stars if I could, I came here and thought maybe I just kept catching them on a bad day- 2 months trial and i’m certain this is not the place to put your money into.
I absolutely love this nail spot. To say I am a frequent flyer is an understatement! I get my pedi and all waxing done here! KAYLA by far is the absolute best. She has great attention to detail (maybe more ocd then me lol) and is always prompt for times for appointments. Their point system is great as well I quickly earn enough points to get rewards! Overall great environment and I always leave a satisfied customer!
Went to another salon but ended up not liking my nails, so I went to charms. I love how Nina redid my nails, she completely fixed them. I can tell she very skilled and has great attention to detail! She also does great design!
Edited: January 11, 2026 At the owner’s request, I called the nail salon to discuss the issue. The owner stated that because I had already paid, a refund was not possible and claimed I should have complained sooner despite the fact that I was injured while still in the salon. This explanation is unreasonable, as payment does not negate a customer’s right to raise concerns, especially when injuries occur. The owner ultimately said there was “nothing he could do,” refused further discussion, and hung up. I have evidence of the injuries, receipt, and timeline, and I attempted to resolve this calmly. The way this was handled shows a serious lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly advise others to Be CAUTIOUS and CAREFUL when thinking about coming here!! 0 stars if I could is what this salon deserves . I came to this nail salon hoping to surprise my grandmother before she left for vacation. We decided to try a new place for a girls’ day, even though I had seen some negative reviews. Unfortunately, I should have listened. First pictures are as we were still in the facility yesterday. And last two are from the next day and how my cut is now and how my daughters french tips look. The man who gave me my pedicure exfoliated my feet so aggressively that he literally shredded my skin and caused it to bleed. What made it worse was that he laughed about it while it was happening. He then sprayed alcohol on the open skin, which burned badly. When I told him it hurt and stung he laughed again. And proceeded to rub the cut and laugh again ,I’ve never wanted to leave a place so badly. That left me even more concerned with certain people such as diabetics and the risk that this can pose on them. My youngest daughter’s pedicure was fine the technician she had was gentle and her polish is okay as of the next day ,However my oldest daughter got French tips that were horribly done. There was no base coat, dust particles were trapped inside, and the color wasn’t even pink—it looked purple. They were extremely poorly done, and she was very unhappy. In total, I was charged $277 for services that were not done well. I don’t mind paying as long I feel treated well and am dealt with respect and care after all I am paying for SERVICES. I asked for total all of our services and paid because I’m not the type to cause a scene, but while waiting for my grandmother to finish, my toe began bleeding again. I asked the person at the front desk for a bandage and explained what happened. He brushed it off, joked with other workers laughed and smirked, which made me feel humiliated. I asked for some type of refund. He initially gave me a $20 voucher for future services. I told him I would not be returning and had no use for a voucher—why would I come back to a place that treated me this way? After hesitating and saying they don’t do refunds, he eventually gave me $20 back. Now my toe is swollen, red, and still bleeding, and I’m worried about infection. Not only that just the shellac polish was just horrible applied as well and bubbled up as in pictures I told him to correct it all he did was apply a thicker layer of shellac which now just looks uneven. My oldest daughter is also unhappy with her nails, and it hasn’t been one day there already chipping and looks like they forgot to do the top coat there is no shine! they left skin and cut cuticles all around my daughters nails they don’t even look clean or appealing.overall the customer service was terrible. 0 stars if it could , I will not be returning, and I hope this review saves someone else from experiencing the same thing. I’ve since seen other reviews mentioning rough treatment as well, which is a serious safety concern. I regret not sticking with my usual salon I only wanted a nice, relaxing girls’ day for my grandmother and daughters. Lesson learned: speak up and don’t ignore the warning signs others leave. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Some of the technicians need to be lack the skills to be performing these services!!
