I really enjoyed this spot! Spicy tofu ban mi was the best so far, looking forward to returning and trying them all. A free little egg roll while you wait for your order is very nice too 😌 Fried tofu to go was good, nice to take that home and make a few meals.
Super friendly little store with an excellent selection of food. While we waited, they offered us samples—and they were unbelievably delicious. They even make their own tofu, and my son (who never likes tofu!) actually loved it. It’s a tiny spot with a huge personality and truly great food. And something I really admire: for the entire month of December, they’re donating 10% of their revenue to support people in need in Vietnam, specifically flood victims. A small business with a big heart.
Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. I'm a carnivore. Chu Minh's is an artform. Very impressed. The prices are appropriately valued considering their craft, huge portions, and the fact that they give free meals to the community - they deserve every penny. We're bookmarking Chu Minh's for when we have GF guests. The storefront on Martin Luther King Jr Way S is take-out only. We put in a large online order around 6pm last Sunday and it was ready on time. Service was friendly. The Rice Noodle Soup was incredibly mouthwatering - this bumped into my #1 position for when I crave brothy comfort food. Loved the deep mushroom and umami flavor!! Also loved the Stir-Fried Rice Noodles, which was similar to one of my favorite Thai dishes, Pad Woon Sen, but with sesame flare. Fried Egg Rolls and Mongolian Beef were also outstanding. The Fried Rice Combos were a great way to try a bunch of options on the menu. They were out of Pineapple Tofu but we'll try that next time. All wonderful: + Mushroom Tofu with Black Pepper (GF) + Stir-fried Vegetables with Tofu & Mushrooms (GF) + Spicy Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich + Spicy Tofu Sandwich + Jackfruit Salad (GF) & Spicy Thanks for everything! (heart)
This place was delicious! Best Banh Mi that I’ve ever had. My girl got the spicy tofu banh mi and I got half with the lemon grass chicken and other half with bbq pork, owner was cool and asked if I wanted half on each …
This is the my favorite restaurant. They have amazing delicious food that everyone can enjoy. Very friendly and talented staff. They are also affordable, which is great, because I can afford to buy more of their delectable food. My two favorite menu items are their Mongolian beef and BBQ pork banh mi.
