I was referred to Citizen Law by aunt, who has used them several times. She was referred to them and spoke highly of them. At first, I was very pleased with the prompt service and anytime I called to follow up on my case their polite and courteous. Today was my first day ever in court, I did not know what to expect or what questions to ask. My aunt always said her tickets got dismissed. My attorney told me she was only able to get one dismissed. I was very perplexed by this but did not know I could challenge it. I ended up paying $214 fine because she could not get this particular ticket dismissed. This is in addition to the $100 I paid them because it’s $50 per violation (I had two). I am relieved I did not have to pay the full amount but pissed that I had to pay anything at all. So, I called Citizen to see if I could get more info on my case and why it was not dismissed the young lady on the other end of the phone was very rude and maintained her attitude the entire conversation. You would have thought it was her violation and she paid for it. It appears that the officer who issued me my ticket may have appeared in court and that too could have been a factor. Maybe my attorney did her best but I would have at least appreciated having my questions answered in a respectful manner and not rudely. It was my violation, I just wanted more information. This is my first time using them and I'm unsure if i’ll use them in the future.

May 07, 2026 I had an amazing experience with Attorney Shoshana. She helped me get both of my tickets dismissed and made the whole process so much less stressful for me. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing and has a lot of experience handling these types of cases. I honestly felt like I was in good hands the entire time. If you’re looking for an attorney who is reliable , and gets results, I definitely recommend Attorney Shoshana. I’m very grateful for all her help

I should have paid attention to the reviews for this firm. I was represented by female attorney who behaved like she didn't want to be there. I wish I had gotten her name. She was very rude and had the worst demeanor compared to the other attorneys there. The lady from Sullo was amazing. She greeted her clients professionally. The guy from Kubosh was working hard for his clients as well. Do not waste your time with this firm.

I was told to arrive at 8:00 ended up waiting 3 hours and finally met the lawyer from citizen. She was NOT able to dismiss my case, was in a hurry, and in a bad mood. She told me I would have 90 days to pay my 650 dollar fine…which was false because I had to pay the entire about immediately. Was told one thing and another happened. Was given false information, I guess you get what you pay for. Horrible!!!! Do not recommend

I should be giving them 1 star but I’ll give them 2 because they got my case dismissed. Court was at 08:00. There were dozens of people in the courtroom. Everyone’s name is being called but mine isn’t. People are coming and going and cases are being dismissed. Finally at 09:30 they ask has anyone not spoken with the lawyer yet. I raise my hand. They say we’ll call the citizen representative shortly. She shows up at 10:30. She tells me my options are 1) pay $180 and do defensive driving & it won’t be on my record, 2) pay $250 no defensive driving & it won’t be on my record, or 3) she can ask the officer if he will drop it. I told her to do the third. She did, and the officer dropped the case. So my ticket was dismissed, but I had to stare at a wall for 2.5 hours until she got there plus another 2 because we had for wait reasons unbeknownst to me for her to get it dismissed officially. So many other people who hired other firms got their cases handled quickly. After this experience plus reading all the other bad reviews I consider myself lucky… if my officer hadn’t agreed to drop it I’d be paying $180 + doing defensive driving. Next time I or one of my loved ones gets a ticket I will be hiring Sullo & Sullo or another law firm. Whoever it is, I’ll be reading reviews first.
