Sign in to reviewAs always 10/10! Their remodel is lovely! I booked last week for an acrylic fill with gel and they did a wonderful job. I decided to come back for a pedicure this week and Kim gave me the best and gentlest pedicure of my life! Every attention to detail is done with loving care! Can’t wait to come back! 💖💅
I love this nail salon so much!!! As a UT student it’s hard to find good quality nail salons near us. I tried this nail salon because a friend referred me to this place. I was scared at first but this nail salon exceeded my expectations. The first time I came here I told the nail technical that I never tried almond shape nails. She assured me that this new nail shape would suit my hands!!! They turned out great so I just keep coming back. The first photo of my first time getting my nails done, the second time I got a fill, and my new recent set.
I trust Coffee-n-Nails because of their cleanliness. I feel like they disinfect all tools and keep everything clean that touches your feet & nails. That’s the most important quality to me in a nail salon. I still bring my own nail polish though. The new space is lovely. Very aesthetically pleasing.
I recently went here for Gel X extensions and honestly, I left pretty disappointed the first time. The shape was off and the nails were super thick and bulky. It just didn’t look or feel right. I went back the next day to have them redone, and I do really appreciate that they were willing to fix them. The second set definitely looked better and the application wasn’t as thick, which I’m thankful for. They explained that because I have curved nail beds, there were gaps between my natural nail and the extension, so they had to use more gel to fill everything in which is what caused the thickness. I understand that everyone’s nails are different, but there are sculpted or curved extension tips made specifically for curved nail beds. If those were available, it probably would’ve avoided the need to add so much product in the first place. It’s just hard when a salon seems to only carry a “one size fits all” option, because that doesn’t work for everyone. I appreciate that they tried to make it right and improved the set the second time around. But since there don’t seem to be better options for curved nail beds, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
I've been going to this place for about 4 years since it's close to my office. It was always great -- really great looking nails when I left. HOWEVER!!!! recently I noticed they've started adding on extra charges to my final bill. But this last time took the cake. I was charged $5 for "long nails"!! what the hell?? My nails are nowhere near LONG. (like those people who wear extremely long extension nails...nope! mine are natural/all mine and not too long) Then they charged me $5 for "The Shape"!!! What?? The shape? they are standard oval nail shape. I DID NOT MENTION the word: Almond, or stilletto, or coffin, or anything. I said not one word about the shape of my nails!! How the hell are you going to do a manicure without filing/shaping my nails???? It's ridiculous and I will not ever return. I was a very loyal customer for 4 years. I got burned once because I asked for almond shape and saw the $5 upcharge..so since that time, I stopped saying ANYTHING about the shape. I got tired of them nickel and diming me just to charge me more for any little thing. Long nails? Shape? forget it. I'm out!
