Sign in to reviewWe stopped by Com Ga Houston this morning for breakfast. The restaurant feels modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Since we arrived in the morning, it wasn’t too busy, so everything was quick and relaxed. The food was delicious, and my whole family really enjoyed it. One thing that stood out was how clean and tidy the restroom was—a detail that’s surprisingly hard to find at many restaurants. It’s always nice to see a place that pays attention to cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant, not just the dining area. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
I was so excited to eat the banh xeo that I forgot to take a picture! This is probably one of the best tasting banh xeos in the DFW area - perfectly crispy and light. The portion is very generous, and the fish sauce was top notch. My mom doubts my taste in recognizing authentic Vietnamese food, but even she loved it! Additionally we ordered item #52 (bun mang vit, goi bap cai bap chuoi) which was also delicious. Our waitress was named Nhu, and she had the best recs! Apparently there’s also new ownership, so the food is prepared differently now. Overall, I’m DEFINITELY coming back. Serving the banh xeo was a nice touch to add to the clean atmosphere.
This was my second time visiting this restaurant, and we had Nhu and Ly as our server. They were incredibly kind and friendly. Although it seemed like English might not be their first language, they went out of their way to explain the menu, recommend the restaurant's best dishes, and make sure we were happy with every meal we ordered. I highly recommend the Vietnamese Pancake, especially if you're not familiar with Vietnamese cuisine. The portion is large enough for two people to share, and most importantly, it's absolutely delicious! I also enjoyed the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Chicken Noodle Soup. One thing to note is that some dishes include chicken organs/giblets, but there are also versions available without them for those who prefer not to eat organ meats. Overall, great food and excellent service. I'll definitely be back!
Nhu and her associate were very kind. The vegetable, rice noodle and bean sprout spring rolls in rice paper with the peanut sauce were amazing. It was my first time trying Vietnamese food and I was pleasantly surprised. For all the vegetarian and vegan foodies, it will not disappoint. I actually heard myself saying, mm, mm, mm, while eating! The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Goodbye regular fried spring rolls! I will return for more delicious food.
Came with my mom today and we had the cơm gà xối mỡ and the bánh canh gà and it’s sooo good!! Amazing meat to carb ratio. Definitely going back soon. Our waitress Như was really nice and recommended a variety of different dishes, which we ordered. And I can definitely see why they were recommended.
