We had lunch at Corner Bakery Café and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was very good, fresh, and well prepared. I ordered a salad with several ingredients, and even though I don’t remember all the details, I clearly remember how fresh and enjoyable it was. The service was excellent. The young woman who assisted me, as well as the rest of the staff, were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. They made the whole experience even better with their welcoming attitude. Overall, we were absolutely satisfied with our lunch and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
When visiting the West End in downtown... For those early morning walkers, students, or commuters who want to have an eat breakfast on your patio and people watch, this is a good spot. For those urban photographers, check it out. Plenty of seating, bathrooms are clean, service was good. Food is standard, good. Family friendly, morning meet-up, weekend quick stop while touring the city, or solo dine- in. It is located within walking distance to many downtown attractions and close to DART.
Nice place. The food is fine. We ordered four sandwiches, a pasta and a salad. One of the sandwiches was not what we ordered. When it got to the table, we were trying to figure out whose it was because no one had ordered it. Maybe it was misheard, and that would be totally fine with us, but when I'd figured out that we didn't order that sandwich, the lady took the receipt from me pointed it out and pretty much shoved it in my face to show me how wrong I was and that I'd ordered it. I didn't really appreciate that. We didn't want it, but ate it anyway and didn't like it because it was something none of us had ordered in the first place. Maybe won't ever go back.
On Friday, February 28, 2025, this was my first choice, to eat a hot meal while in downtown Dallas' west end, while visiting for the NCA All Star exhibition. We chose the west end eating establishment franchise because of its location to the sixth floor museum and dealey plaza. I ate a delicious cheesy, Chili Mac with an unsweetened iced tea and a banana muffin for Sunday's breakfast. Both were tasty and fulfilling on an empty stomach. The food and service were excellent!
