Perfectly nice guy but ruined my favorite watch. I took my favorite watch in for a cleaning and to get the links fixed. He fixed the links, which is why he gets 2 stars. Other than that, he scratched my case, bent the end links (a cheap trick to make them stay instead of just fixing them), and there is still dirt visible on the watch case near the crown and bezel. I can't believe I paid $30 for this. He distracted me with nice talk while I paid so I didn't notice all his incompetence until I got home. I feel totally ripped off and my favorite watch now has scratches and bent links and is STILL DIRTY after he charged me $10 to clean it. I will NEVER go here again. Do not take your valuables to this shop for cleaning, it is only a good place if you want to buy some of his jewelry from inside. As for me I'm totally dissatisfied and it is not even worth going back to try and get him to fix things because the damage is irreversible.
I've been going here for many years. Great customer service and he has some very unique jewelry. He doesn't pressure you if you just want to look but more than likely you'll end up with something. I get my watch batteries replaced here also.
I have been a customer for many years and have Galway’s had exceptional service. Recently the owner made an elephant bracelet for me and it is beyond beautiful. Exceptional workmanship and outstanding service.
Had a watch crystal put on my Seiko watch. They we're reasonable and courteous. I will use them again
