CrescentCare is a medical clinic in New Orleans, LA, located at 1631 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117. It is a local option for people seeking medical care and patient resources in the city. Customer feedback describes doctors and other staff who take time to answer questions, share information, and treat patients with respect. For someone arranging a visit, knowing the clinic’s weekday schedule and central address can help with planning. CrescentCare is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Reviews point to a patient-care experience that can involve more than a doctor’s appointment. One patient appreciated help from staff on the second and third floors, including the front desk and lab, and said team members explained available resources and answered questions. Other customers mention empathetic employees, welcoming interactions, and programs intended to help the community. These comments suggest CrescentCare may be worth considering for people who value clear information and respectful care, especially when they want to ask about resources alongside their medical needs. Specific services and programs can vary, so patients should contact the clinic for current details.
Feedback is not uniformly positive, and prospective patients may find that useful to know. While some reviewers praise the doctors and describe the care process as excellent, others report frustrating interactions with reception staff or say they were not notified before an appointment had to be rescheduled. These experiences are individual accounts, not a guarantee of what a future visit will be like. If timing or a particular appointment matters, confirming the visit directly with CrescentCare before traveling may help avoid uncertainty. The clinic’s listed rating is 4.3 out of 5, based on 245 reviews.
CrescentCare’s location on Elysian Fields Avenue makes it a neighborhood medical resource for New Orleans residents looking for a clinic within the city. Reviews also describe an organization working to support the community through programs and resources, with staff and volunteers characterized by some patients as kind, welcoming, and nonjudgmental. That may appeal to people who want to feel listened to and treated with dignity when seeking care. Because a clinic visit can include practical questions as well as health concerns, patients may wish to ask ahead about available resources and what to expect during their appointment.
For a first visit, it can be helpful to confirm your appointment, ask about the specific care or resources you need, and check whether any arrangements are required before arriving. CrescentCare is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.; it does not list weekend hours. Its address is 1631 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117. With reviews that recognize both helpful clinical interactions and areas where communication could be smoother, the clinic offers prospective patients a concrete starting point for learning about medical care and community support in New Orleans.

Everyone here was very kind and helpful from the ladies at the front desk on 2nd floor, the doctor, mystique, and also all of the ladies on the 3rd floor (at the desk and in the lab) they all were informative, answered my questions and made me aware of all the resources available. This was my first time coming here for testing I felt very safe and comfortable. Thanks so much!
Wonderful doctors and overall fantastic process for patient care. Cannot express how great it is to get care here. Would give 10 stars if not for the miserable experience of talking to the reception staff. Every time I have to interact with them they seem annoyed. Extremely dismissive, unhelpful, and quick to pawn you off to someone else instead of actually assisting. The pros outweigh the cons but if I have an issue to talk to the office about it's almost less trouble to wait for my next appointment and ask the doctor for administrative help than to call the reception desk.
I made an appointment three weeks ago. I went in for my appointment and was told the doctor would not be in that day and I would receive a call to reschedule later. I understand things happen, and rescheduling is not an issue, but not giving me a call to let me know before I drove over there is. My appointment was late morning too, so it’s not like my appointment was right when they opened. Inconsiderate.
Amazing organization, awesome programs, and empathetic employees who treat all patients with great respect and dignity. I highly recommend them to anyone!
This place is awesome, even with the gov. cutting their budget they are still trying to provide & help the community as much as possible! And the ppl who work/volunteer are the nicest and are so welcoming and non judgemental
